This are great sheets. I love the color pink that I chose. They do not get you hot at night and fit perfectly on my mattress. Something that I like about them is that the top and bottom are labeled, which allows for easy bed making. They are extremely good quality and feel nice to the touch. I bought these in blue as well for my boyfriends bed because I loved them so much at my house.One thing I will say is that they came extremely wrinkled, but that's to be expected with any sheets you buy online and are packaged.

Years and years ago, I had a sheet set that I didn't appreciate at the time. The kind of purchase you buy in your youth when money is no real issue but relegate to the back of the linen closet when you color preferences change. I rediscovered that set recently (no longer usable as we upgraded to a larger bed) and I realized...those sheets never pilled, never wore, never frayed. And here I am now with "soft" sheets, navigating and avoiding holes each night.Figuring repurchasing quality sheets would be pricey, I've put it off for months. Meanwhile, I'd been researching what is was about those original sheets that I liked so much. The tags had been long worn...no clue brand, material, or weave.What I'd determined was I liked their crispness, their weight, and their overall thickness. And what I needed to find would be long staple cotton.I discovered these sheets in particular on Amazon and the price was far less than I was expecting to pay.Some say itchy - I say crisp.Some say wrinkly - I say...duh. 100% cottonSome say lower thread count - I mention quality of thread usedI'll update should I discover deteriation with use, but so far...these are PRECISELY what I'd been looking for.Update: nearly 1 year late, there has been no noticible wear. They are softer now, but still look great with no pilling for fraying. These were precisely the sheets I had hoped for.

These sheets are an amazing value! I got 2 full size sets for $67 on sale for my Mom for Christmas. I was so impressed by the quality that I returned to buy them for my own guest room. These sheets are 100% cotton, very soft, just the right thickness, and they wash really well. I wash on warm, normal cycle, and dry on medium heat. To avoid wrinkles, I recommend removing them from the dryer as soon as it goes off then lay them out to cool down before folding (I lay them over my dining room set for a couple hours before folding). If you do this, you will not have ANY harsh wrinkles. The feel and quality of the fabric compare well to my $110 cotton sheets from the dept store. Another reviewer had great advice to prevent pilling. She said that after every washing, you should wait at least 24 hrs before using sheets; this allows the fibers to settle which prevents pilling. If you have 2 sets on hand, it isn't a big deal to wait. The only negative is the stitching workmanship. After several washes, nothing is coming apart but there are a ton of random threads sticking out. Most are loose and can be pulled out carefully. The sheets don't seem to be coming apart though, so I'm still satisfied for the price. The fabric itself is fantastic quality, which makes it especially annoying that the company cheaped out on the stitching workmanship. These would have been 5 stars had it not been for the sloppy stitching. I still recommend these sheets and will likely buy another set for my master.

This is our second order for the California Design sheets. We initially came across this line in a product search and found that they were rated as the best overall budget friendly sheet set. We just purchased a new Simmons Black Label mattress that was about 15" deep. These sheets were listed as 100% cotton and fit mattresses up to 16" deep. They have a separate tag listing the head and foot area when putting the sheets on the mattress. From the outset, we are impressed with the overall packaging of the set and they seem to be of good quality. These are lighter weight than our previous bed set, but that is what we were looking for as we wanted something a little easier to mange. We have washed a few times now and the sheets have maintained there initial size and hold very nicely on our mattress. These are a satin set and smoother overall, but feel very good to the touch and the thinner set we believe has better breathability resulting in a more comfortable sleep. I will reserve any overall opinion on longevity as this is the first set we have ordered from California Design. Initial impressions so far are good as to fit, finish and comfort. We are satisfied enough and just purchased our second set.
