Q: Where is this item made?

Their socks say "The production facilities are located in Portugal" after you get through all the "Designed in Denmark" and "Made in Europe" nonsense.

Q: Let's talk about warmth. Does this Denmark merino wool/recycled materials cap offer overall warmth for head and ears in the bitter cold?

The hat works well in low temperatures, and is comfortable for extended wear. It isn't really thick enough to fully break high winds at extreme low temperatures, but still offers reasonable insulation. It is my everyday wear hat, but in very windy conditions I tend to wear a hood over it.

Q: Is the cuff attached or can the hat be unrolled?

The cuff is NOT sewn down/attached and can be rolled down. The hat is perfect, the material soft and luxurious and I love it.

Q: Are they machine washable?

I have machine washed this cap. I will let you know that the fabric became pilly so I’m not sure that resulted from washing it.
