Sweets Dark Chocolate Orange Sticks, 10.5oz Box

Love these and the flavors 😋 😊👌

I enjoy chocolate in all its forms, but to me, dark chocolate is the way to go..and when combined with certain flavors, it's a little bit of Heaven on earth. I especially love dark chocolate and orange - that's an unbeatable combination - and these dessert sticks bring that wonderful flavor in a few bites each. The chocolate is smooth and not overwhelmingly sweet - just enough - and the orange jelly filling has a bright flavor that is a good balance between the citrus notes and the added sugar. A couple of these make a satisfying but not heavy dessert treat..yum! (Note: for those who prefer milk chocolate, I believe these are also available with that option.)

The dark chocolate orange sticks are a favorite, but not from this seller! Bought to put in Christmas stocking and I was mortified when opened. They looked old and stale and tasted that way too. I have bought many boxes of this brand of candy over the years and NEVER had a box that looked like this and tasted just terrible! I was even afraid to try, hoping that the look of it was deceiving. It was not. I did check expiration date and was not expired, though they looked and tasted like it. Will NEVER buy this off Amazon again. Will stick to buying at my local supermarket.

Tasty, came quickly. Well packaged. Better than I remembered.

This is my son-in-law's favorite candy, too. I've tried raspberry filled, cherry filled, and other berry types, but nothing beats that mix of tangy orange with dark chocolate. And we've tried similar store-brand candy. (We've tried the milk chocolate version, too, but it's just too sweet.) Sweets is getting harder to find in my local grocery stores, and it's usually only available at Christmas time. So, thank goodness, we can order it from Amazon whenever we get that orange+chocolate craving.

I have liked these for years, but it is now over priced and the ones I received had a white coating on it like it was old. The chocolate coating tasted old too.
