While the switch and triggers do wear out, we've never had a switch fall out. That's a new one.

Q: What is the difference between the 1600 & 1800? they both go down to 30ga, is the 1800 better if i'm working with lighter ga?

1800 Does 30ga up to 18ga feels a little light in your hand. The 1600 does up to 16ga. Little more heavy duty.

Q: How many cfm of air is required at 90 psi?

At 90 PSI this hammer uses 15 CFM, Well built , durable, handles the jobs
