This worked great for our 8 hour trip! It rained and snowed about 2 hours of our trip and everything was completely dry and protected! I was so worried it wouldn’t be from some of the reviews and it was all completely dry not even damp, there was no water that got in! Didn’t notice any noise from it, the cross bars had more noise than the bag! Fit on our Chevy traverse perfectly! We were able to fit a jump size suitcase, medium, a bunch of pool floaties, and towels in it with ease! The design is great allowing air to go right over top of it! Great purchase!

It worked for what we needed. Zipper was tough to zip.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I never write reviews, but wow did this bag deliver! We drove from Ohio to Colorado with it strapped into the bed of the truck, through hours of relentless rain (the kind of rain that you can't see the road or the car in front of you), and this never leaked a drop. Everything was perfectly dry and we had zero issues. The included straps weren't long enough to work for a truck bed, so we used ratchet straps that we already had.This was a great value for what I paid.

Drove my car from California to Tennessee with this thing on and with a rubber mat underneath. Front flap for the zipper did come up pretty regularly revealing the zipper. Still gets a 5 star because I drove thru a literal hurricane and my bags were still dry.

I wanted to really love this carrier and was looking forward to being able to use it for many trips. Our first family trip tho, it ended up ripping at the corner about 6 hours into our drive. We had to reinforce best we could with duct tape and straps and hope for tho best since we still had a 5 hour drive ahead of us. Very disappointed in the quality. There was absolutely nothing sharp inside that caused any type of puncture. It was just bad work done at the seam. Wish I could return and get a refund but return window was gone before we had to use it and didn’t know we would face this issue. I wouldn’t recommend buying.

Drove on a 8 hour trip and this worked perfectly . The only thing I will suggest not complain about to the next person buying. When you place the straps through the car when it rains they will get soaked. They will start to leak inside the car. This was an easy fix on my part.

Tore after 1 use during a 3 hour drive. Had to toss it.Update: seller reached out and offered full refund for the defective product, so I increased the rating slightly for the sellers helpfulness in resolving my issue.
