Very quick delivery in appropriate packaging. Nice and compact, and it came with a cloth bag with string closure. I like that it uses two AAA batteries rather than a more expensive, hard to find battery. Overall size is slightly larger than a "Brand name" item. Setup was easy after reading the manual. I compared readings between this meter and the brand name meter. They were within 2% of each other, which instills confidence. The price is good which helps balance the budget.

No issues. The instructions are detailed and clear. The device seems to be functioning accurately. The strips are good quality, and I haven't had a failed reading yet.FYI don't be rough with the lancing device. It is of good quality but it's obvious being careless can render it inoperable. Be careful where you twist, grip, push etc.Only complaint would be there being only 2 buttons on the device. It's easy to use if you read the instructions but more buttons would be more intuitive and reduce learning curve.

Great blood glucose meter. Was the lowest priced meter taht had great reviews when I ordered it. Works exactly as described. Came with 100 test strips and lancets. It's fast, accurate, virtually painless and yo can't beat the price.

This is a good kit that has everything you need to get started testing your sugar. It comes in a convenient carrying case. It has a good size display that makes it easy to read and its accuracy is comparable to my other generic test kit. It does however seem to require more blood on the test strips for testing, which isn't a huge deal as I am bleeding already what a few drops more?

My primary care physician suggested that I self-test my blood glucose level at home, and suggested a kit that was unaffordable. I found this one and after reading the reviews, decided to get one. I read through the manual and after a single trial-and-error, determined how to use it. It is a simple test.The manual suggests that you insert the test strip into the monitor first. However, I learned that you need to prepare the lancing device before inserting the test strip. If you insert the test strip first, the monitor "times out" and turns off.When you prepare lancing device, be sure to push the blue lancet into the plastic sleeve, and then push the sleeve into the device. This is not made entirely clear in the manual. Continue apply just a little pressure on the lancet while you work off the cap that protects the needle. Screw on the lancing device cap. Once the lancing device is prepared, then insert the test strip.I set the device to 1 (on a provided scale of 0-5, for depth of pin-prick), and barely feel it. I prick the side of my thumb, and am able to get a sufficient blood droplet. I find it easier to put the monitor, with the test strip in place, on the table, and then slide my thumb under the protruding end of the test strip. This works well for me. The test strip has to barely touch the blood droplet in order to draw the blood up into the strip.Based on my most recent fasting blood draw (at a professional lab), this monitor produced an accurate reading when I did my first at-home test the next morning (after fasting). I am pleased with this purchase and recommend it for anyone who needs to do at-home testing.

Easy to use and does what it needs to do! Keep your AAA batteries ready!I even used my second meter to measure it’s accuracy. Happy! The only hitch is, the test strips that comes with this kit do not fit into the testing meter from another brand!I am not diabetic but caring for my health ismy top priority. I check my blood sugar every other day. Who does not want to live a long and healthy life:)

best meter ive ever had. many other brands have failed way too soon but this meter has never failed is two years. you cant go wrong with this one,
