Tiptree Puddings have already been cooked so they only need warming up rather than the 2 and1/2 hour time needed to steam uncooked. About 45 minutes should do it. You can test the pudding with a skewer to see if it is done and patch up the hole with a bit of aluminum foil. They should have included warming instructions in the package but may have missed your box.

What are the dimensions of the pudding? I know it weighs a pound, but I want a sense of how big it is, how many people it feeds.

Roughly 1 1/2 to 2 hours of steaming for the 1 pound pudding. For the larger 2 pound version, 3 1/2 to 4 hours is appropriate. Wilkin & Sons' puddings are so worth the time, effort and money. Can you heat up in the pressure cooker the Christmas pudding Tiptree

The heating instructions that Tiptree gives are either steaming for 1hr 30 mins or microwave for 3-4 minutes. They do not mention a pressure cooker. So we would not advise using a pressure cooker to heat this product.
