Semi-metallic shoes reasonably priced and stop as good as metallic break pads except when it rains. Other than the metallic shoes I'd never buy again as except for when it rains they squeal horribly every time you stop. These semi-metallics are quiet in all braking situations.

Semi-metallic. Needed a replacement from the original that came with caliper. Difference is night and day. Brakes actually respond better. A bit more quiet. Feels smoother when I squeeze the brakes. Installation is not too bad. the good ol “aligning the caliper to the disc brake” was the only issue for me as an amateur.

Not really impressed with how thin the pads are. I ordered ceramic as i do with just about anything i own with brakes. I don't really see them lasting long being on an e bike that goes 26mph. But to be fair the manufacturer should have used a better caliper for the application.The quality seems pretty decent. Comes with everything needed. Normally i would wait to leave a review until i put whatever I'm reviewing through the proper paces. I know when i order things half of what makes me order are reviews.However, I purchased for my son's E bike. Specifically a Hikeep K6. They went right in as soon as I received the package. They are easy to install. You'll need in most cases a 5mm Allen wrench and needle nose pliers. Even not knowing what you're doing it should not take you long at all. That was yesterday 7/11/25. He has so far put only 4 miles on it. I'm keeping the extra set of pads at hands reach just to be safe.My only gripe really is how thin the material is.For a peddle bike. I think these will last you a decent amount of miles. Electric bike though, time will tell. At least for me.

Finally!! I've found a viable brake pads replacement for my Varla Pegasus Electric Scooter 🛴!! I've owned 2 of these same scooters and this 2nd one came with different brakes than my first one did. This new Pegasus is equipped with brake calipers that require a rectangular shaped brake pad (as opposed to my first one that used the small circular pads).I had ordered a couple other sets of pads from Amazon that I thought would work, but when i went to install them, they were a little bit too big to fit.However, I just got these brake pads today and i brought my pliers with me to the amazon locker so i could put them in right away and sure enough, they were a perfect fit!!!Hopefully if anyone else is looking for replacement brake pads for their own scooter 🛴, and you are also having the same issue with finding the right ones that fit -- you see this review and can have peace of lind knowing that these are the correct size and will fit.Obviously i can't be certain they'll fit if you don't have the same electric scooter.Tested them out on a nice ride toy office in downtown LA and back home and they were awesome!
