Fairly strong and useful
Okay, these are good magnets and based on their rating, I'm Superman! Yeah, I don't they are quite up to the specification but I will still consider them strong. And I'd be remiss if I didn't reference the usual safety precautions with dealing with strong magnets.BT recommend within reasonable use

Are they too strong for your needs?
The magnets are powerful, as advertised. My magnets arrived with one of the plates entirely aligned with a corresponding magnet. I could not slide the two pieces apart without assistance from Vice Grips and a large pair of pliers. They were not stuck together by anything more than their magnetic strength. Be sure you know what you are purchasing. My shipment was delayed a week by what was described as a supply chain problem. Luckily, I was not in a hurry.

worth the extra money
These are worth the extra money compared to several others I bought. If you put one of the 30 lb hook magnets on these the 30 lb magnets will hold much better. These won't move. Yes I know that's a hack but it works.Be careful where you put them down because they hold extremely tightly, esp. to each other.I used them in a metal garden shed an on a concrete wall.

Strong pull force, but FRAGILE - they crack if you tighten the screws
The magnets are too fragile for their own M4 screws. If you tighten with enough force to counter the 150 pound pull strength, the magnets will crack. Because the countersink is not very deep, standard M4 screws will not be flush with the surface of the magnet. The heads of the screws will sit proud of the magnet by a significant amount.I ended up using a two part epoxy and milling off the tops of the screws, but it was a hassle and I don’t trust it to be strong enough to hold the magnets in place.
