Smells lovely. I have to spray it on my hands (in another room!) then smooth my hands over my cat as he hates all sprays. So I was worried this would have a horrible smell but it's very pleasant. It certainly gives a nice shine temporatily but I maybe don't use it enough on him to notice a significant longer term difference.

One of our Ragdolls is very prone to getting very matted fur - she's not an outdoors cat, her fur just grows that way! We tried the spray on her and her sister (who only occasionally gets mats). The spray smells pleasant enough to humans and the cats didn't object to it. However the spray itself didn't really help with de-tangling the amazingly thick mats that cat #1 manages to grow. If sprayed on the mat, it does help to get the comb or indeed stiff brush through to tease the fur apart if and only if it's a small mat and not very tangled.

Recently homed a senior cat who had heavy matting, this spray really helped to smooth out the fur and tackle the smaller matted patches. Seems most effective when you leave in and then comb out the next day as the detangler helps to break down the matts for easier removal. Highly recommended

The spray it’s fine the only downside is the nozzle leaks every times it’s used so you end up with it on your hands. Not a big deal as it’s not toxic just a bit annoying. Smells pleasant. My cat doesn’t like any sprays on him so I have to sneak up to do it but it seems to help with his matting. Not bad value either.

Amazing productI have long haired cats this was amazing on the matted bits
