Quality of the product
I have been using this procuct for years. It keeps well and is actually good value for the money. I use in my sauces and souflettes & as a condiment. I dont like hot mustards, this one gives flavour without too much heat.You can also use the pot when its empty as a vase!! Win win

Nice mustard and plenty of it.
Nice wholegrain mustard, packaged in 500g container, so you can be liberal when using it in recipes, although it seems to last a long time too and its shelf life is good since it doesn't go off.Really nice with sausages, added to home made coleslaw or as part of a glaze on pork loins.The only negative was the shipping, it was not appropriately packed on two occasions. Since its in a clay pot, it needs a little more than one layer of bubblewrap. However, second time around it managed to survive shipping.

Great product but very badly packed by Amazon.
This mustard is rightly famous, absolutely delicious! I love the traditional stoneware jar and wax and cork seal. My only gripe is that Amazon packed it in a thin bubble wrap bag inside a too-large box with one measly piece of crumpled paper. As a result the wax has broken all round the sea. The jar is intact and is not leaking and as I need it I am not going to return it, but anyone with half a brain would have known that packaging was completely insufficient.

Nice mustard
Nice mustard but (along with other reviewers) was badly packed. Luckily the wax top was still intact but obviously the jar had taken a whack somewhere in transit. So, PACK IT BETTER!!! But the product is very good hence the five stars

No need to review this famous product. It happens to be very tasty!
I really like this particular brand of whole grain mustard and it can improve my cooking no end! Great taste and good value for money rather than buying tiny jars of something which is usually not French and fairly nondescript from a local shop. Highly recommended.

Great mustard. Shame the lid is plastic and not cork like it used to be.

Impossible to open container without breaking the lid.
The red seal was brittle and prevented opening it. I had to use a knife to get it opened which also broke the cork lid. Once opened we had to remove the contents to another container. Lovdely container but unusable due to the lid difficulties.
