TefalTL 6008 Toast n Grill 2 in 1 Toaster Grill and mini oven for toasting and grilling buns, corrsiants, sandwiches, even bake small pizzas

Well erm iv it a few days only but i think I v it before and honestly for me and my disabilities this toaster well out does every other toaster, i love the window so can see if stuff gets stuck inside which it doesn’t last one just died after high usage lol. Also love cheese on toast using this and try other things it’s really helpful basically bit expensive but i barely use oven so it’s more needed.

I had one of these 20 years ago and loved it. Had to leave it behind when I moved country. After buying the usual toasters here in Britain, and throwing them out after a year or two, I remembered this one. They last forever, are well built and very versatile. Tuna melts , croque monsieur or just plain toast, it does all these perfectly and so easy to clean. know it is a quite expensive compared to an normal toaster, but well worth the buy.

If my feed-back appears elsewhere (in my name) with anything other than 4 stars then these are erroneous. . This is the 2nd Tefal TOAST & GRILL I have purchased (first lasted about 7 years) as I found it fits an exact niche position in the kitchen: very good if you are struggling for space and do not want or need a "full-scale" mini-oven, which mostly, do not have a toasting function. Quite simply it is not a min-oven BUT it does what the name implies and it does it very well. It toasts and grills in one unit. If you do not need or want a small grill then this is not for you. If however you need a small space saving toaster/grill for small meals or (thin) snacks to avoid putting on your full-size oven) then this fits the bill quite nicely. It not only saves money but it is faster with virtually no heat up time. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that it is quite expensive for what it is; also, had the grill cavity been a little higher (only) - say 50mm (2") then it would have been useful for "browning off" small microwave items. NB: this one had to be sourced from Sotel Electrics which to my surprise, came from Germany.

We bought this to replace an old model that lasted maybe 15 years before finally burning out its element. It’s a very useful device but the new one came with a European plug and UK adapter (the old one had a UK plug). The adapter is very flimsy and fell apart before we even plugged it in, leaving live metal parts exposed (see photo of adapter in pieces) and giving my partner a shock. Fortunately we have a spare adapter, but it takes up more space than the plug alone (see photo). Why even sell an electric device in the UK with a European plug?

Do not buy it's awful and overpriced. No timer for grill, cheap aluminium trays (no tefal at all). It takes more than 15min to make simple cheese melts. While working it becomes hot as hell on all sides outside and this heat destroys and melts everything near the oven. Doesn't close properly. Doesn't open enough to clean inside. Toaster uses the same place so it's not possible to use oven at the same time.

So far I have only used if for doing cheese on toast and tea cakes (which turned out to be just fine). It is a nice and compact size, so it doesn't take up too much room. I have been looking for something like this for quite a whileand so I more than happy with the purchase.

Does what it says. For UK purchasers you get the plug adapter included. Only used it a couple of times, it seems to work well, just a bit of trial and error getting the correct temperature setting, but we’ll get it sussed soon I think
