Does what its supposed to, do you need it, no. Do you want it, yes.
Nice fit, but not very flexible. Tough to get on and as another person suggested, you can heat in a microwave to assist you in getting it on. I wish I would have remember how long I had set mine for, but it was a touch to long and it slightly started to melt it. Not really a big deal I guess as it still does what its supposed to. just more of me being a tool snob and liking my stuff to look a certain way. This does a nice job of protecting my impact while working as well as marring up the object your working on.

This cover fits very nice!
A great cover if you want to keep your impact looking decent through lots of use. It seems a little small when you receive it but just soak it in some very hot water. The cover becomes pliable and stretches over the gun tightly. It fits like a glove.

Nice! Just Warm It Up in the Toaster. When Its Warm It Goes On EZ and When It Cools It Shrinks Right On Like Shrink Tubing and Fits Like Spandex. Its not Rubber but more Like Plastic when it's Cold and Like Rubber when Its Warm.Note: Don't Forget it in the Toaster! I almost Melted Mine into a BLOB of Plastic/Rubber, Rescued it just in Time before it began to Sag, It only takes a Minute as the Glow Of the Toaster Elements Start to Heat Up!Now That it Cooled Off It Has No Movement on the Tool and Is Tight!
