Brilliant - just what I've been looking for for years!
I'm so glad I found this product. I've got maybe 25% grey hair at most but it's around my temples and the front part of my head, with coolish mid brown hair that goes lighter/warmer in the sun. Years of using semi-permanent dyes of the 'ash brown' variety have left my hair damaged towards the ends, and very orangey towards the end, while the roots are darker and look ok when newly coloured, but then they go orangey too. I'll never use them again. This product has none of the harsh chemicals that are causing my hair to lighten and get so damaged. This product is just what I've been looking for - it's covered my orangeyness and my greys with a lovely natural looking mid brown (I used the 'natural brown' colour), not too cool or warm, a sort of rich hazelnut colour. They greys are covered - actually possibly too covered for me, and next time I plan to use it for a shorter time to get more of a highlight effect so the growing out greys aren't so obvious, and I'll probably just do the roots with maybe a whole-head every 4-6 months, depending on how they look and if the orangey-ness returns.I have a longish bob/above shoulder length style and I used half the packet; I'll split the rest over two or three more applications on my roots only, I think. However, it IS messy. Wear gloves, and put a barrier cream around your temples, wear old clothes, use old towels, etc...

Grey is unchanged. Doesn't work.
It doesn't work. Don't waste your money.

You need to leave at least 2/3 hrs to do it.
Long winded and a bit messy to use and you need to be careful. I left it on for two & a half hours, so the colour was even and very close to the colour on the packet. My hair is short so I only needed to use one packet. You need to mix it very slowly to a slightly runny paste and leave it for a couple of minutes, as it then goes firm. I stood in the shower and put it on as I have an electric lit mirror opposite and could see what I was doing. I only dropped one tiny bit and I found it fairly easy. I would advise that putting clingfilm round your head instead of the cap as it is a lot better. They only supply one pair of gloves which is slightly annoying when you can get two dyes if your hair is short. All in all though it is worth it if you have sensitive issues.

Totally brilliant alternative to damaging chemical dyes!
This product is miraculous. I love it and it has changed my life...... Quite literally. I had been caught up on the permanent colouring merry go round with disastrous effects and noticeable heat and chemical damage that had dismayed me completely. Then I remembered henna from my younger pre greys days . I loved the colour; the shine and the amazing conditioning that henna brought and wondered if it would cover my grey roots. I read the reviews on countless henna products and 'It's Pure' came out very positively. I was scared because having decided never to use heat or chemicals ever again, it just HAD to be effective. The instructions say to leave on for one to three hours. I left the product on for 6 hours, just to be sure. I was not going to take any chances. I was delighted with the immediate results and the natural brown covered the greys very acceptably, darkening over a few more hours as the colour oxidized. The horrid whispy damaged bits of my hair were noticeably far more smooth and sleek. I felt as if my hair had been reborn! Now I know chemicals really are a thing of the past I feel happy and liberated. This is a super product that I recommend without reservation. Used in conjunction with jumbo velcro rollers to replace my very damaging revolving Big Hair hot brush, I really do have my hair and my life back. Brilliant! 5 stars!!! When my roots re grow I will use natural brown henna to touch up and remove the horrid greys. It is such a relief to know there is a plan that will make my hair better, stronger and in far healthier condition. Absolutely fabulous!

My hair loves it!
It's the forth time I'm buying this dye because I'm really happy how my hair turns out after dyeing. I was looking for the most innocent dyes when I was pregnant and I have stick to them after the birth. I do not get as dark colour as I would like to get, but considering that they are natural, it's fine with me. I just leave them for longer time (3 hours or even more). Once I have slept through the whole night with the dyes on lol, but by my surprise the hair were fine. It was an accident as I was very tired and I do not recommend anyone to repeat that as my hair did not get darker and you never now how it can damage your hair. But I think it just shows how innocent these dyes are. Also, I have noticed that the colour tones are different and depends on my hormones. Once I have dyed only the roots during the menstruation and the colour was very light. After I have used the same dyes (the half was left) and the colour was fine. The one thing I do not really like is that it washes away after about 5 washes but I suppose it's fine with the natural dyes as the syntactical ones washes away as well but may not as much. In spite of everything I'm very happy and will buy them again.Margo

Not worth thr hassle
I bought this during pregnancy to avoid colouring my hair with nastro chemicals. This product did not help, left my hair colour almost unchanged (did not even slightly coloured my whites) and it was disappointing since it is super annoying to prepare the paste and you need to leave it on your head for hours!!! I tried it once and binned the rest. Waste of money and time!
