This was my first-ever trail camera. It arrived quickly and was pretty easy to set up. The instructions are written well and were easy to follow. The exception to that is on the setup options with more levels, such as for the time zone, it didn't mention to press Menu to go back to the options list. Still, setup was easy by following the instruction manual. I used a 32 GB Sandisk SD card, and in the first night, 300 images and video took only a very small portion of the card. I had set the photo size setting to 24 MB, which results in images in the range of 3 to 6 MB each. Defaulting the video setting of 1080, each is about 10 MB. I set it to take 2 images and to also do video, so each capture consists of 2 jpg files and an mp4 video. I was trying to find out what had been leaving very large dog tracks on the property (that weren't from my own large dogs), and it was captured numerous times by the camera within the first 12 hours. The clarity of images and video, both daylight and nighttime, are impressive. We haven't had sub-zero temperatures yet, or rain or snow, so I can't address how it works through adverse conditions, but am very happy with the setup, ease of use, and results so far. The one caveat is that without the side view motion detectors set to "on", it may not capture and record motion at the edge of the viewing range.

Gave it a 4 only because I've not set it out yet.Delivery was ahead of schedule. Packaged very nice. Very complete user manual. Appears to be designed and built very good. Many useful settings to select. Really like it and am looking forward to see performance in the field.

The media could not be loaded. I now own 6 of these cameras and I am happy with the quality of the video and pictures. It did give me some blank ones but I also had a lot of wind for branches and grass. I like the screen so you can quickly check out the recording. I am now thinking about getting two of the cellular ones with the solar panels. I use rechargeable batteries and they do last a while. I am thinking about putting the cell cameras high so I won’t be able to switch out memory cards. I would just note that if you don’t switch out batteries quickly then the date and time need fixed. We got the big ten pt buck in the video and I appreciate the cameras to help track him. I got all of them on sale and it is worth the sale price by my opinion. These are also my first trail cameras.

Yes the price is good and they do work. If you are reading this then i have good news for you the trail cameras are pretty reasonable and they do work pretty well. Pop in your own memory card and 8 AA batteries and run through the menu to set date time , what you want to record and put it where you want to monitor. The buttons are intuitive and easy to figure out you dont even need the manual. Comes with a quick strap so it can be put up on a pole , tree etc. i use it for photos because my memory cards are small and i record in loop to overwrite previous photos when memory runs out. Easy to use and great price.

I bought a few on sale. If they were junk no big loss. These cameras went beyond my expectations. Better than my previous Realtree cams, way better. The infrared flash is so faint it is ultra stealthy. The camera triggers rapidly. Crystal clear images and video. Simple and intuitive operation. I would buy these again without a doubt.

Im not a expert on trail cams. I use this one because I had a coyote problem. So I suppose for the money this cam is good. Its super easy to operate. There is already a issue reviewing pics. Menu doesn't work so you have to power off and back on, then menu works and you can review pics. Also, the text at the bottom of pics is annoying because it takes up too much of the viewing screen, even if viewed on my laptop. If i were buying another, I'd probably try another brand.

This is a great trail camera! First impression, the user manual is perfectly written. The tech-writer that prepared it put it in such an easy to read and understand format. Every section from start to end is clearly explained, step-by-step, which made getting it set up and operating, only took me a short time to have it working perfectly. The default settings were so helpful in having it work to suit my needs. I expect I will order another one soon, as we have plenty of reasons to make sure of the safety and security of our surroundings.Highly recommended!UPDATE 1, 9/4/24Having used this cam for a while and gotten used to it, a few comments to add to the above.I'd been using 2000Mah NI-MH rechargeable batteries to begin with, knowing the manufacturer recommends lithium batteries for longer life. I found that it consumes the rechargeables at a fast rate with videos, in moderately warm conditions, again something the manufacturer mentions, and now installed the recommended lithium AA.It is very sensitive to movement, using the HI setting and captures even flying insects at night. I'm going to lower that setting to lessen the false detections. I'm amazed at the night vision on this Cam, even on a moonless night.The strap that came with it could be a bit longer, we have some large trees on our property.I'm still highly impressed overall.
