This item came as described, single newspaper page cutting sharp, opens and closes beautifully. The blade looks to be actual Damascus sandwiched around a (supposed to be a D2) solid core, It has a pretty pattern in the Damascus that is enjoyable to look at. The construction and assembly seems flawless (the liners are really nice and beefy) and it come with a wiping cloth and wrench. I'll be getting more Remette products in the future.

I bought this as my EDC knife. Well worth the money. Very light so it won't pull your pants down. But not that cheap light. It has quality. Very sharp. Great grip. Best EDC knife I have ever had.

This product is by far one of the most affordable, but also Amazingly made products for and EDC person such as myself, the knife comes perfectly sharp and is also a great material that the blade is made out of. It is greatly satisfying to open and close the blade and is comfortable in your hands. The only problems I have had with it is including in the industry I work in where I use it quite frequently, is that the tip will bend over time, but that is after quite a bit of abuse but the clip to hold it to your pants pocket Ben’s easily and will be quite tedious. The one I had bought that I am reviewing on was my favorite knife that I have bought, on a medium budget is my favorite knife, but I sadly lost it while working because the clip that hold it to my pants was too bent up that it got caught on something and was lost to the point where I cannot acquire it. To anyone who is on a low to medium budget for a good every day carry knife. This is a great product to buy but keep in mind the information that I have told you and that I hope I have explained correctly so if you make the decision to buy this product, you will understand the small defect you may face with this product but you will be able to and love to use when you need it!

Bought this knife purely for the design aesthetic. I was very surprised by the quality upon receiving it that it inspired me to purchase a higher end Remette product. This brand makes quality knives! The gold on black design of this knife is awesome, and the blade comes sharp out of the box. It is bigger than I thought it would be as the pictures make it seem smallish. The pivot is smooth, and the liner lock is easy to disengage. Great option for an EDC.

I take it everywhere I go. I have it attached to the molle straps on the back of my EDC bag for quick access. It is scalpel sharp and the long length provides a comfortable purchase in my large hands. Fast opening, good quality and intimidating when deployed. Buy with confidence.

I ordered the version with the damascus blade.I'm a simple man. I like simple, straightforward things. This knife is exactly what I need in an EDC and I'm very pleased with it.I love this knife. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. It has a great feel. I particularly love the texture of the handle and how easily the knife opens and closes. It feels like a great quality for the cost. The damascus blade is also visually striking and stands out great against the black handle. I like that the handle isn't metal. It makes the knife lighter and it's more comfortable as it is. It feels very sturdy and firm. I spent about 20 minutes sharpening it and the tanto style blade makes it very easy and simple to sharpen. I'm sick of almost every knife having a blade that's part serated or has weird curves. Time will tell how well the blade and handles hold up, but I have a feeling it will do alright. If something major happens to the knife like it explodes or comes to life and steals my bank account I'll be sure to update the review, but for now I really do love this knife and I'm glad I got it. There's nothing exceptional about it, I just like it. And that's all I need.
