Sharp out of box, quality build, smooth operation, beautiful finish
The Kershaw Misdirect is a well engineered and quality made medium duty edc knife. It has a frame lock which is more robust than the liner lock. The blade is easy to deploy and fold up. It has a snappy way of opening and smoothe finish which evidences good quality control. I recommend this all metal knife for edc or gifting.

Great for the price!
This was an add-on item to get free same day shipping. At the price point I didn't have any expectations for quality, just figured I could use a knife to keep in my car. I was shocked at how good this little knife actually is! For $26 this is a great little carry. The assisted open is easy to deploy and but very strong, and the frame lock feels good and disengages easily. Sharpness is decent and the overall function of the knife is great. At this price point, I think this is an exceptional knife!

Best sub-$35 on the market.
This is easily the greatest knife you will find in this price range. It’s the perfect size for daily carry and use at work. and built like a tank. I have dropped this sucker while on a job from 16 ft and it didn’t open, nor did it shatter, break, cause the tool to malfunction in any way. Not even a scratch. And at this price, you won’t be upset if you lose it or get it confiscated at airport security.

Rough edge. Needs sharpened often if its an everyday carry. But still great for the price.
Good knife. Have to sharpen often though.

Best edc knife out there! What i like is it isnt bulky! It does the essentials right like opening smoothly and being sharp. Sleek, and clean, i love it.

Good knife
Smaller knife than my full size iridium but that’s what I was going for. Wanted something I could use when I’m out and about and not worry if I lose it or abuse it. It was $20 and it fluctuates between $26-$20 on Amazon. So if you’re thinking about it, watch it for a few days before buying it. It fits great in the pocket since it’s slim and small. I’ve got some meaty hands and I’m able to comfortably get a full grip on it. It is slightly slippery due to the all metal body but I don’t use or need a knife on a daily basis that I depend on it too heavily.I’ve had better experiences with assisted opening knives compared to the duralock with my Iridium. After a few boxes cut on the iridium; the blade began to have play and wiggled a bit vertically. Never had that issue with assisted opening knives but for the price point, we’ll see.Definitely recommend if you’re tired of carrying around a bulky knife that takes up a lot of space in your pocket and want something decent. Just remember, don’t expect high quality from a $20 knife.

This pocket knife won't disappoint.
After reading the reviews, and also being a pocket knife fanatic, I just had to have this knife, it's high quality, well built, easy to carry in your pocket, opens and closes smoothly, and is large enough to tackle anything that any other pocket knife will do, it's very sharp, and worth every penny that I paid for it, highly recommend this knife, it won't dissappoint.

Checks all of the boxes for me, the perfect EDC knife
I've spent hundreds of dollars over the past few years looking for the perfect EDC knife for me. I think I've finally found it. I've owned multiple Kershaws, a handful of Civivis, a couple benchmades etc. After all of that, this relatively cheap Kershaw finally checks all of the boxes. The knife is small, but not mini. It sits very nice in my pocket, it's no more intrusive than even tiny knives like the chive or ember. The pocket clip holds it very securely. It opens with a very satisfying and quick action, and the flipper and frame lock combo allows for very easy one handed operation. It is very easy to open, but not so easy that it might spring open unintentionally like my chive always did. The blade shape is great, it will be easy to sharpen, and is pointy enough to dig at things without being a needle. Zero play in the blade, it feels super solid. The flipper becomes a guard when opened to help ensure your hand can't slip onto the blade. All in all, it's the best form-factor of any EDC type knife I've owned. It's blade may not be super-steel, but between the ease of sharpening and the low price point I'm not super concerned about it. I have a $150 benchmade that holds an edge forever, but certain things about the form factor just never clicked with me. For the price of this kershaw, I can buy 6 of them before I've spent the same on that one benchmade. If I accidentally leave it behind on a jobsite I won't have a heart-attack, I'll just order another one!
