High value, sturdy enough for many uses.
Very nice for the reasonable price. I'd say light to medium duty (not for stirring concrete). I definitely like the flat bowl front - it helps with scooping more from the bottom of the pot. Non-magnetic, so it's probably a 200-series stainless steel. Just dry after washing and it should be fairly corrosion resistant. I doubt that it's 18/8 or 18/10 stainless steel (300 series), since those popular alloys are more expensive.

Very nice slotted spoon for the money
This light spoon was much nicer than I expected. Very good value for the money. Use it often. Nice and sturdy, good grip and durable. Perfect size for what I use it for.

Not the standard shape we are accustomed to, but nice.
The front is more like the end of a spatula which can also hold some liquid. You go underneath a piece of food and tilt back to grab some liquid. This can be used in a pan or tray. The difference is a standard ladle goes straight down into a pot. It cannot go under anything to lift it off a pan or tray with liqiud.Sturdy stainless steel, just not heavy as what we would expect. No worries. It is NOT flimsy. It certainly is unique and good to have. You won't realize you could use something like this until you need it. 🤗I took off 1 star only because it can appear like a standard circular ladle.

Chef Craft vs Good Cook: which one wins?
I cook with stainless steel pans and need a stainless steel spatula not just to flip things over, but to scrape the browned parts off the bottom of the pan -- plastic ain't gonna do it. The crazy thing is, 99% of spatulas out there have a rounded front instead of a flat front, which makes scraping take a lot longer (less contact). The good news: there are 2 spatulas in existence on Amazon that are stainless steel with a flat front:Chef Craft TurnerGood Cook Classic Pancake TurnerSo I bought them both to see which one is better. (They're only spatulas, after all!) And the verdict is:The Chef Craft Turner is sturdy, a steel tank of a spatula. It has a strong handle and feels like it will last for decades. But it has two cons: first, the spatula itself is noticeably thick. So it's amazing for scraping off the pan, but if you need something thin to slip under a delicate pancake, you may have issues. Second, the front of the spatula is slightly angled. I don't know why, but this bugs me. I'm right-handed so it works, but not everyone is.On the other hand, the Good Cook Classic Pancake Turner is thin, lightweight, and almost flimsy-feeling. (It's also half the price.) The good news is, the spatula itself is thin, thin, thin -- if it doesn't slide underneath your delicate pancake effortlessly, nothing will. (And the front isn't angled.) The bad news is: I wouldn't use it for anything more substantial than a pancake or a fried egg. Using it to try to scrape off the browned bits feels like it's going to bend out of shape at any moment. So there's a reason they call it a "pancake turner" specifically.Final advice: buy the Chef Craft as a general-purpose spatula for frying meat etc., but also get the Good Cook if you cook delicate things like pancakes and eggs.

No more microplastics in my food!
Better than expected for the price. Nice looking, fully functional, and I got to throw away my plastic spatula which was probably killing me slowly. Recommend this! You can even cut your grilled cheese with the edge.

Inflexible
My fault: This product is inflexible and I should have looked for a flexible one. Otherwise, the quality is what you'd expect for something this price.
