This is a GREAT white noise machine that has much more than just white noise - campfire sound, ocean surf sound and many others. When I got this, I was surprised how short the cord was. Also, it's a USB cable and I wanted to plug it into an electrical outlet near my bed. The solution was pretty simple. I bought a good quality 10-foot USB extension cable and also a good-quality USB-to-AC power adapter, right here on Amazon. You just plug the USB extension cable into the existing too-short USB cable that came with the Dreamcenter. Then plug the 10-foot cable end into the power adapter. Then plug the power adapter into an AC outlet. IMPORTANT - BE SURE THE POWER ADAPTER IS RATED FOR 5 WATTS. I have loved this sound machine, but today after having it for one year, it has died. Don’t know if I should buy another one or for that length of time. UPDATE: When I tried to turn the sound machine on last night - IT WORKED! II sure hope it keeps working. UPDATE- And that was the only time. Officially dead😩

I like that it is electric. The rechargeable sound machines that I have tried don't last all night. I read that sound machines help with sleep and prevent nightmares. I am sleeping longer, deeper and without nightmares.

We bought this for blocking sound and see if the pink noise helps with baby sleeps. We all ended up with better sleep, less wake ups.The only thing is you can hear some sort of tone being at the end of the loop, but it doesn’t bother us.

I have been using this for over a year and I really liked it. While cleaning the other day, it fell on the hard floor and refused to work after that. I didn't realize it until I was going to bed and it wouldn't turn on. I The next day I checked the cords and when I removed the end going into the machine, the end came apart so I was left with prongs and no way to plug it in now. Its an odd end and I did not have a cord with the same configuration to test it further. The website said they did not have replacement parts. I will have to look for another one but am hesitant of getting this one again.

Perfect brown noise to cancel out other sounds and sleep good, functional as described. The lighting is a nice touch. Little pricey but worth it. The size is portable, only problem is that it needs to be plugged in to work.

My Yoga Sleep Dream works very well. The sound quality is really good.. I had a Yoga Sleep Nod that I loved because the only light it had was a soft amber that could be made brighter or dimmer. But it was a sort of thin oval shape that stood up on its side, and it didn't have enough surface to stay put on my nightstand, so I knocked it over a few times until it finally broke on my tile floor. This one has a large surface that sits on the nightstand, so I can't knock it over. This one has several light colors that I don't need, but there's a yellow one that's almost like the amber Nod light. It has rubber-feeling control buttons that stick up and can be easily manipulated in the dark, just by touch. Many sleep machines have touch pads that are overly-sensitive and don't work well for me. The Nod, and this Dream both have buttons I can feel in the dark . the touch pad ones can't be felt, so you need a light to see what you're doing. I like reaching for mine in my sleep, and can easily control it in the dark. WELLL DONE, A GREAT PRODUCT. However, the info said that it has several ocean sounds and there were only two. "Oh well."
