This could be the best flat iron I have ever purchased. I have had nearly every popular flat iron brand over the last 25+ yrs. I have had CHI, FHI, Sedu, Babyliss, Rusk, HSI, and a lot of lesser known brands in between.The main thing I have noticed is that my hair responds best to tourmaline irons, which have been using over the past decade, but they have become increasingly harder to find and more EXPENSIVE. Enter Nition. The last good flat iron I had was a Sedu tourmaline and prior to that Babyliss tourmaline. The Sedu I purchased was used after I tried some generic flat irons which burned and fried my hair. I was struggling to find an iron that my hair would respond to. After some time, the Sedu stopped working and I was back on the hunt.I purchased two other brands from Amazon that were just awful for my hair. I took a stab at purchasing the Nition after reading a number of positive reviews. Admittedly, I didn’t have very high hopes because the price was so affordable (sad, I know). Upon its arrival I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t really get excited about packaging, but wow was I blown away by the presentation. The storage/cooling case and the glove was such a nice touch. It honestly is something that I would expect from a more high-end product. The iron itself is sleek and lightweight with a pretty LED digital temperature control dial at the base. But most of all. The performance is phenomenal. I have fine AA hair that normally does not curl tightly. I can generally get a “bend”, but a full curl is nearly impossible for me. This iron also heats up very fas, so very little wait time. The other thing is my hair is generally pretty shiny on its own, but I have had some irons that have made my hair look dull. This one not only adds shine, but it keeps the frizz away also. Finally, my hair doesn’t feel dried out farted days of daily usage. I honestly love this iron. I look forward to how quickly I can curl my short pixie. It just works so well.I only had one con with my purchase and that was the the temperature control skipped several increments. I could manage to make it work for me, and initially I thought it was a feature, but I read that it might be a design flaw. After three months, I decided I would reach out to customer service about the matter. To be honest, I didn’t really expect to get a response. And since it wasn’t “broken” and I like it so well, I probably would not have been very upset if I did not get a response-but wow. Last Wednesday I emailed customer service about my issue. Within two hours, I got a response back from the after sales rep, Rain. She was so kind and accommodating in her email. She didn’t hesitate to to start working on my replacement immediately, since it was still under warranty. She asked me for some information that I provided quickly and she immediately processed my replacement. I couldn’t believe that Saturday, before 12:00 pm, I had received my replacement. It’s working perfectly. I must say this has to be the best purchasing experience I have ever had. This is the longest review I have ever written, which says a lot because I am usually kinda lazy about reviewing products. I just want everyone to buy this product so that it will always be around! The product is wonderful, but the level of customer service that I received was phenomenal.Well, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. I hope this review helps someone who may be on the fence about purchasing.

UPDATE: the company reached out directly to me and sent me a new straightener. This tells me that my original straightener going out was a fluke, and that the company stands by their product. 5-stars from me, I do love this straightener. It heats up quickly and gets hot enough. I will have to get used to the silicone grip that keeps it together, but that shouldn’t be a problem, as I typically only use that for travel.HUGE thank you to the company for making this right and standing by their product!Original review:I have had a revlon hair dryer for nearly 20 years. I bought this thing 2.5 years ago and it stopped getting hot enough to do anything to my hair. I can’t say I’m surprised, they make products to last just beyond the warranty date. I’m giving it three stars because I just returned another one that pulled my hair. So overall this one is good, but wish it would last longer.* I did repurchase this, and I have to say I’m sad they took the locking toggle out.

I love this flat iron the way it makes my curls wow! Fully recommend it!

These are some good curling irons. They are just as good as the hair salons. They straighten very good because my hair is very thick. It doesn't take forever to straighten your hair with these.

I’ve been using this brand for over 5 years. I recently had an issue and contacted customer service and they responded immediately and took care of the issue promptly. The customer service from Rain was impeccable. She was very thorough and she responded quickly to each of my emails.The hair straightener itself is a great product. I love that it comes with a case for traveling. The heat mit and clips are very useful. The straightener is light weight and heats up quickly. It leaves my hair shiny and works quickly. I don’t have to keep going over the same spots multiple times like other brands.

It was great. It did a great job straightening or using to curl my hair. However after 4 years it has stopped working. For the price I would expect it to last longer. Now I plug it in, light comes on for 1 second and then nothing. Can’t get it to turn on.

I purchased this product in 2022 and had some doubts. But over the past two years, I absolutely loved the quality and had no regrets buying it. I had thick and long hair and have hard time getting strong straighteners/curling irons. The heats controls and smoothness of this product is commendable. It is easy to pack and has enough cord length.Honestly, the lock mechanism was a bit annoying though I liked that it can be closed. After almost 2 years, it broke on me and I asked for customer service. They had very fast customer service and sent me a replacement as quick as they can (actually within 2 days). They just needed me to send a quick video of malfunction which is understandable. I proposed to send it back but they trusted me.Hope this business gets a lot recognition and continues to satisfy their customers. I express extreme satisfaction with their services and their products. :)
