Low cost and easy to install
Very easy drop in replacement for one that failed, and much less expensive than the local hardware store. I ordered two just to have a spare, but have had no issues so far.

Worked well for about a year.
Easy to install and adjust.With that being said, it worked very well for just over a year. It stopped closing the door and popping loudly when opening a few weeks ago. Tried to adjust it and then it would just slam the door closed. On the bright side, I contacted the manufacturer and they’re sending a free replacement. Only gave 4 stars because a year wasn’t long before it stopping functioning correctly. But the customer service from Wright Products was exceptional!

very good closer, not for a light weight door.
I actually purchased the heavy duty, it is wat to stiff and will slam on your feet very quickly. This standard duty allows time to enter the doorway and closes softly.MY door is full Glass with slide and screen dog door and more glass on side. Standard worked better for my application.

VERY easy install. Fixed my slamming door problem. Very satisfied with this purchase, and it didn't break the bank!

Not exactly what you would expect
Main point: This closes my aluminum frame screen door very quickly (too quickly) down to about 10-12 inches. It causes the door to hit the heels of my shoes because it closes so fast behind me. I have to jump inside quick before the door closes behind me. I walked outside today, opened the door, and it closed so fast it hit the cup in my hand causing a spill.It is very definitely heavy duty. I thought that might mean better built. It is well built but it also closes with a LOT of force. I am going to replace it because of the speed and force of closure - it will wear out the hinges on the door and eventually pull the screws out of the wood wear the plate mounts on the wall. It would probably be perfect for a heavy door (glass) or large door.The directions are accurate: you can adjust the speed and force of closure for only the last 10-12 inches, but not from wide open to almost closed (10-12 inches). Again, wide open to 10-12 inches remaining... It'll get cha' in the heels - like a grocery store cart from behind.........
