Bird Cage Skirt - Made in USA - Large Size

The Sheer Guard bird cage skirt is a terrific item. It fits my oversized bird cage with just enough extra to make easy to slip on. Since I began using the skirt the seed chaff, feathers and other detritus on the floor beneath the cage has been all but eliminated. Now cleaning the cage is a breeze since all I have to do is remove the bottom tray, place it underneath the cage, then lift the elastic band on each edge of the skirt and dump the contents onto the tray. Once the tray is cleaned and replaced the skirt is very easy to reposition, just be careful not to catch the skirt mesh on anything sharp protruding from the cage like corners, perch ends, etc. or you may damage the skirt. I'm very pleased with this product and as long as you are reasonably careful with it I think it will last a long time.

Works well, I just wish there were more size options. I have finches so my cage is longer than it is tall and it's a bit tall for that. But I have it scrunched down a bit and it looks fine. It also has really, really cut back on the seed I find around!***update: Basically the second or third time I cleaned the cage this had two large holes torn in it from where it hit the corners of the cage. I don't take it off roughly and it's not super tight around the cage. The holes just formed while it was on the cage, kinda loose. I know it's just mesh but it should be able to handle cage corners with normal use since that is the intended use. Or there should be some kind of reinforcement for corners. Still holds a lot of thrown seed though! I have been able to cut down drastically on vacuuming.

I have a tall 16" x 16" width cage for my Zebra Finches and this fits very well. It has a nice amount of stretch to it and I tucked it under the plastic ledge just below the cage bars to catch the seeds. Just a nice snug, but not too tight fit. I will be removing this outside or on piece of newspaper to catch the mess when cleaning. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is because it is fairly short compared to the height (34") of my cage. A few more inches would make it more effective. It was delivered VERY quickly and I would definitely purchase this again.

I had originally purchased a cage skirt for a cockatiel cage. I was amazed at how great the quality is, and how quickly I received it. I purchased this skirt for a pair of Gouldian finches who I adopted and are extremely messy. This additional skirt arrived promptly. The quality is amazing and does the job of helping me keep my bird area clean. I also must say, the seller is has hands down great customer service. I ordered two skirts thinking that they may have a narrow width. I later found that I only needed one as it was very wide. The seller quickly adjusted my order, refunded me the price of the other one, and still shipped it in a very timely manner. If I end up adopting anymore birds, I will be sure to come back and order my cage skirts from Kansas Creations.

This skirt fit perfectly and is wide enough to go up pretty high along the cage so the food doesn't have to be on the bottom of the cage. It looks nice and doesn't bother my bird at all. I am really happy with this purchase and recommend it for anyone looking for a way to contain all the seed hulls. It really does that well. It holds the hulls very well and only spills when I have to move the skirt for some reason. Thats to be expected though and is still a ton less mess than before.

The feeder itself seems very sturdy and well made. Unfortunately, the hooks that you use to fasten it to the cage are flimsy, which make it a hassle to take it in and out of the cage. Yes, you can return it, but you will have to pay a $6.00 shipping fee on top of repackaging it and going to the post office. Look very carefully at these hooks and decide whether or not they will work for you.

I love these! They have saved me countless hours of cleaning my floors and ultimately my mind! Best invention ever for any bird owner/neat freak like me. This skirting makes bird messes a thing of the past and works much better than the netting you find in stores. It comes in many sizes to fit even large cages and as well as different colors, although I prefer white because it seems to be easier to see through. I not only use one around the bottom of my tray, I put them up the cage as well to catch feathers and treat fallen messes. A must have in my book
