I’ve been using this bird food for outdoor birds, and it works well. I place it in a feeder and birds seem to enjoy it. The mix looks balanced and the quantity is good for regular use. Overall, a simple and practical option for feeding birds.

I like this seed mix because it’s cheap, it has no pellets and it’s pretty much the same quality as Kaytee and other brands. I have it in hand in case my normal seed mix runs out for my pet budgies. But I mainly use this for wild birds. Birds like Cardinals, Doves, House Sparrows and Dark eyed juncos are all attracted to this mix. Even Squirrels like it which is great!!! Because the seeds are vitamin coated, I’m sure the wild birds get benefitted from it. Should this be a COMPLETE diet for pet birds?? No! Pet birds like Finches, canaries, budgies and other parrots need a wide variety of FRESH FOODS in their diet. So don’t forget to feed veggies in a separate dish so they get their proper nutrition.
