2006 GMC Sierra W/T
I have a 2006 GMC Sierra W/T, 5 speed, manual window, regular cab, 6.5ft bed. Got the blower motor today 7/16/15, this blower motor twist in, not a bolt in and the resistor is a 4 hole resistor, not a 2 hole. Took about 3 minutes to plug the resistor plug into the blower motor, twist blower motor into place under the dash and bolt the 2 bolts for the resistor in and plug in the replacement 7 wire black and white pigtail into the resistor.Second summer in a row my resistor and pigtail melted. Looked up on some Silverado/Sierra forums and they said it's most likely the blower motor pushing to many amps/volts and melting the wires. I didn't test the blower motor with a volt meter, just took a shot in the dark and spent the money to replace the blower that was suspect for the overheating wires. Got it all buttoned up and turned it on, works great. The blower motors fan was a little different, the blades weren't as long as the original fan because it had a little extra length on the end that was a solid molded piece which made it about a 1/4 inch taller than the original as well and the motor casing had a little extra nub on the motor casing itself (pictured in the Amazon images) I imagine it's protecting a wire. Still fit great.I dont, along with others, think it's OEM but I looked at oriellys, auto zone, napa and advanced and they were all special order, 2 to 5 business days. Too hot to wait so I went with amazon. It's quieter and blows the same amount of pressure and speed.I've tried to be as descriptive as possible because it is still $100 your dumping on something you can't hold in your hands at a store. I bought the resistor and 7 wire pigtail separately at oriellys, about $80 for both. Hope this helps.

Perfect for my 2005 Chevy Tahoe LT
I just replaced my blower motor resistor module, and thought I'd replace the blower as well. Probably unnecessary, but it wasn't that expensive, so why not. The resistor module I purchased from Amazon (G008R Upgraded Design Heating and Air Conditioning Blower Motor Resistor Module for Chevy Silverado Tahoe Suburban GMC Sierra Yukon ( Replaces# 4P1516 MT1805 RU-631 JA1639 BMR34 ) worked great for my 2005 Chevy Tahoe LT with auto climate control, as it was plug and play. This blower was as well. I had it taken apart, new parts installed, and up and running in less that 30 minutes. And I'm not a mechanic or electrician. No splicing needed for my Tahoe. Regarding longevity of this blower, I cannot comment. But if there are any problems in the near future, I will update this review.

Easy installation. Saved a lot of money.
I just installed this unit, replacing the original (squeaky) blower motor in my 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD (131,000) Took about fifteen minutes to pull the old one and install this one. Everything seems to be working fine. The GMC dealer here in Denton, TX quoted me $250 for the blower motor and $175 to install it. One more thing: Amazon delivery is messaging me that the delivery of this unit is delayed at least a day. I guess they don’t know they have already delivered it.

It works ok and fits right but it doesn't seem to be as strong as the old one. For the price it is worth the money.

Counterfeit Product - Not As Advertised
Counterfeit product. Box is ACDelco box which states "Made in U.S.A.". The part is stamped "Made in Korea". The blades are much smaller and less aggressive than the blades on the factory blower motor that I took out. Unfortunately I was busy with work and just now attempted to install the fan and new resistor and it is a few weeks past the 30-day return window. The blower motor fits, so I am going to try it. Unfortunately y'all sent me a the wrong resistor. Same situation, I cannot return it, now I am going to have to wait to get the correct resistor and probably just eat the money lost on the wrong resistor.

Worked fine
I installed this blower motor on my 2005 Escalade and it worked/fitted fine. This OE part was cheater than the aftermarket part Autozone tried to sell me. Now I will always check Amazon before buying parts at auto stores.

Perfect fit! I had no issues installing the blower motor. The only thing when installing it, look up under the dash and you’ll notice it is keyed. This will help you orient it correctly before you insert the moter. I would recommend also checking the harness connector that plugs into the resister assembly that feeds power to the blower. If you see any signs of over heated contacts you should replace the connector too. My connector showed major heat damage. It’s not that hard to splice it on if you’re handy with wiring. There some good videos on Utube.
