Worked perfectly!
About a year ago, my Bose AE2 headphones died. I threw them away and bought a cheap, horrible replacement pair before realizing the cord could be replaced... I fished them out of the trash and kept them until my cheap pair died (as I myself am cheap) a couple weeks ago and I finally bought this cord. I was a little worried that it wouldn't fit because I didn't know for sure what model my headphones where, but I luckily assumed correctly! As far as I could tell through my research, Bose doesn't make any other headphones with a similar rubber thing around the jack besides the ones that this cord works for, so if this looks like yours, it probably will work.Also, I bought this twice (somehow managed to suck the first one in the vacuum 5 days after getting it) and the second one came with a little clip, whereas the first one didn't. So I guess I have that now, even though I don't know what to do with it.It also comes with a gold quarter inch adapter, which is especially nice for me as a musician because I can use that for my studio headphones. A shinier upgrade from the boring black one that came with those. Hooray.

Exactly like the original for a lower price!
I have owned a pair of Bose AE2 Headphones for about five years now, and about a year ago, I started to lose audio through my left channel. I have always taken care of these, so I didn't think anything was wrong with the actual headphones. After doing some research, I learned that replacing the cord may fix this issue. After searching through Amazon a while, I found this replacement cord from Geekria for a decent price. After a year of use, here is my impression:GOOD:-Exactly like the original cord that shipped with the headphones-High quality, flexible, and comfortable cord material-Durable: this cable has held up for a year of constant useBAD-I wish the cord were a bit shorter, but it is the same length as the OEM cable, and that's my only complaint!If your headphones aren't working properly, don't throw them away. Chances are this cable will help you out. I would highly recommend and will probably purchase another in the future so I can enjoy my headphones five more years!

Its a quality product, but the design is a problem
It fits well and is honestly a super nice chord... however the straight headphone jack is not optimal for a phone. its too easy to get enough leverage to bend the end out of shape (while ruining the inside of your headphone jack). I prefeer the angled connectors for the longevity of my device. Really wish they made an angled one. It is very nice otherwise.

It works!!
I was so upset that my cat chewed through my Bose headphone wire. I thought I was out of $325+. I did not realize the wire came out of the headphone part and I accidentally pulled the wire and it came out... Found a replacement and they fit perfectly and I am so happy.. Sound quality is great and I have no complaints at all..

It came, it worked, it died.
I have to agree with most of the complaints about the quality of this cord. It worked fine for a few days, but I noticed pretty early on a lot of scratchiness, particularly when I turned my head or happened to touch the jack where it was plugged into my phone. The scratchiness, of course, only got worse. I've had the cord less than 2 months and today, right as I was listening to DeerHunter, the sound completely died in the right headphone. I'm going directly to Bose.

So Very Pleased!!
I was hesitant at first to order this item, as there were no reviews and no rating, but I a so glad I did! I own a pair of Bose AE2 headphones and the replacement chord I had been using (ordered through Bose) stopped working for one ear. I use the headphones daily and hate using my others (skull candy on-ear and the horrid Apple EarPods that came with my phone) so I wanted the replacement quick. Ordering a replacement cord from Bose is only $6.99 plus shipping, but like I said, I wanted them fast and paying for their expedited shipping I wouldn't have minded except that it was still 5-8 days. Since I have an Amazon Prime account, I figured I'd look for something I could get in two days for about the same price, or even cheaper (you can order the Bose cord through Amazon as well, but it does not qualify for Prime.) This replacement cord from Geekria fit that expectation- it fits perfectly, it has the nice long length like the original, and I am thrilled to already be back to enjoying my amazing headphones! Wenn man auf das Mikrofon vom Originalkabel verzichten kann bekommen man ein super Ersatzkabel.Wirkt sehr hochwertig und ich bemerke keinen negativen Einfluss auf die Tonqualität.

Ce câble ne dispose pas de la petite télécommande pour changer de musique, ni du micro pour téléphoner.
