Missouri MeerschaumDiplomat Corn Cob Tabacco Pipe - Apple, Bent Bit

I got this pipe 05-03-2018 and it smokes most excellently well.Yes...The stem IS hard to pull out BUT I was expectin that havin owned a legend version of the corn cob.A suggestion...Besides bein very gentle when twistin it out...Is to take a thin knife blade and carefully scrape the inside of the wooden shank so as to widen it a bit.Im currently smokin Super Value Buttered Rum in it and it smokes better in my diplomat corn cobthan it does in my Dr. Grabow Grand Duke strangely enough.I would definatly recomend this pipe for anyone's collection and smokin pleasure.

If you don't own a Missouri Meershaum, you need to add one to your stable. They smoke great and are durable. Mine is one of my favorites. I own Chacom's, Petersons, Savanellis, Bavarian hunters, nordling, handmade customs, Red pipestone Native pipes, etc, but I LOVE the Missouri Meershaum's in an obscene obsessive sort of way. Add a couple to your collection, you won't regret it. Besides, it's an especially Americana kinda cool.

This was my first pipe. I am a cigar smoker but sometimes I don't have enough time for a whole cigar. So, I decided to try smoking a pipe. I sure am glad I did! This pipe is excellent, it smokes very cool and is very enjoyable. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to getting into pipe smoking, since it is very economical and great quality. This pipe is easily one of my favorites. I have some burl and meerschaum pipes but this is my first cob and I am still impressed by how well it smokes. If you add in the price of this one compared to my others, this cob blows them away. Beautiful polished cob that provides a nice cool smoke. With its apple shaped bowl that fits comfortably into the palm of your hand and holding capacity to allow a 30-45 minute smoke, it allows time to relax and enjoy your favorite blend. There is just something that makes a man feel like a man when he is smoking his pipe. Definately not my last pipe from Missouri Meerschaum

not quite as pictured but still, the build quality is excellent. a good smoke and classic look. the apple shape is awesome. I typically buy directly from MM but I like to use my Prime benefits whenever possible.

This is my first pipe. I am new to this thing. I bought it for the price and as suggested by an online men's magazine as a first-timer go to. The pipe works well. The fittings are good. It doesn't get that hot when I'm smoking. I can really feel that I'm biting on plastic with the mouth piece, but its fine. The whole stem of the pipe bents down well. It has a rolled paper like inside its tube, I think it's the filter. I'm going to get a new filter. Hoping it would add a different dimension to the taste and feel of the smoke.

I rotate through a few pipes every week and this is one of them. I replaced the stem with something acrylic but it smoked well as purchased. I may sand it down and stain it blue but looks good as is.
