Q: Can this be applied as a surface sealer for over a mud shower base? I have a small drip and need a sealer to coat the stone floor base.

This product is an additive to Damtite waterproofer powder that you mix for cellar walls and such. It allows it to adhere to previously painted cement surfaces. I don't think it will help in your situation.
