RIDETECS16" Motorcycle Men’s Side Boot Zipper Oiled Leather Boots

This is a pretty high-quality boot for the money. The item is as described and fits well. Only drawback is the calf is wider than most boots. Rather than being a stovepipe kind of boot it actually flares at the calf and in order for me to get my exact size I would’ve had to have a smaller boot that wouldn’t fit my foot. If you find your calves are too big for normal tall Wesco style boots these will be perfect. Otherwise, really nice and well packaged.

These boots are full grain with great soles. I ordered a size 12 b/c I wear an 11.5 with very wide calves and they fit perfectly!. These boots are great. You can narrow the top with the buckle, if you need to. I opted for the 16" high so I could use them at Christmas time when I wear my Red Suit with rabbit fur trim.

Very nice boots, solid construction and good quality leather. The fit was as expected after some adjustments to the strap. As is typical with this type of leather, the insides left plenty of black dye on my white socks through several wearings of the boots. It washed right out of my socks and soon wore off the inside of the boots and stopped blacking up my socks.I did need to mink them oil to improve water resistance, but I do that with every pair of boots I own.The sole tread does pick up small rocks from the driveway and wet grass and mud, but it stomps out easily enough and wipes off well on a doormat.The neoprene sole is not loud on hard flooring and isn’t slippery when wet and reasonably slip resistant on ice compared to hard rubber soled boots.Overall very pleased.

Good quality for the money. Sizes run small so order next size up from what you normally wear. The zipper is great for ease of getting a tall boot such as these on. Bought these for motorcycle riding. Would definitely recommend them.

I got these boots and I was excited because for the first time in a long time I got a pair of boots that fit exactly right. Well that's about it though, after the 3 day of wearing the boots , I'm a trucker by the way so no intense wear, well I notice the soul falling off, left with no choice I had to glue it back on, about the next day or so I put them on and the zipper failed. I managed to make it work for a few days. Now I'm home, put my boots on and my zipper failed again,at the top, now I'm stuck in the boot and embarrassed because I had to get help to get the new boots off.. other than that the boots are great!

These boots really are perfect.. true to size. The leather is thick and the shaft of the boot stays firm.

I want and need support and protection over the calf of my legs. There are few non-custom boots that fill that need and these RideTecs are superior. That badly damaged foot requires a side zipper and extra size for me because the lack of range of motion and permanent swelling demand it.Sneakers, low boots, even 11" high boots if you can find them don't cut it.I unpacked these and slipped them on.I wore them the whole first day in comfort. No stiffness. The same the next day, and the next.The cushion in the boot is amazing in how it molds to the foot and makes you feel like you're walking on air.These are biker/engineer boots and have all of the reinforcement and adjustment of the historic boot. The instep strap has a bit of extra length to add a bit of balance to the buckle. The bottom of the boot has just a bit of extra border (?) that makes the boot more stable, ready to get down to business.One drawback was in the shipping. A 16" boot needs an internal support that comes up the full 16". Mine had an 8" support floating about in the bottom which meant the shafts are creased flat. As I cuff my boots, this creates a rather noticeable folded edge in the front and back. They are unsightly bloused.I hope I can work that out.

El producto es bueno buen calibre de piel. buena piel. Lo único que no me gusto es el cierre que no baja hasta la suela y eso en mi caso(empeine alto) me cuesta trabajo meterla.

There was nothing wrong with the boots, the problem was with my instep consequently i couldn't get the boots on my feet!
