Will a kindle reader fit?

A 6-inch kindle paperwhite reader in an Amazon case only, a Samsung Note 9 and pen in the large opening with the lock zipper.

How to wear as a waist bag? I am attaching it to the loops on the back of the bag & it is too big on my waist. Is there another way to do it?

I did like the picture on Amazon site. I put the strap through the sleeve/loop that goes the length of the back of the bag. Then I clipped the strap to one metal loop on the back of the bag, brought it around my waist and then clipped the other metal loop. It was a little to big on my waist. I found with experimentation that making the strap longer and wrapping it around my waist twice, that I could make it tighter. I hope this helps.

Is it machine washable?

I can fit my Samsung phone, 'compact' style reading glasses, lipstick and some small-ish sunglasses. I doubt that a camera of any size would fit. I think that if you had a large iPhone it might not fit ....
