Nice and slim, brighter than expected
I've got this mounted very low on my MX5, about 6 inches from the road. As such, I didn't think it would be very good as a light (I bought it purely for fun)... but it's great! As a fill-in for dipped or full beam, it makes a definite difference, and it's bright enough to use alone. Obviously I'll only be using it in the same context as full beam, as it would blind other drivers. As another reviewer noted, the reach isn't any further than your regular headlights, but the spread is impressive. The slim form (an inch high, ish) means despite grille-mounting it, it doesn't restrict airflow much. The fitting kit is decent too - the brackets and bolts are very sturdy, and it was well-packaged. Only negative for some might be the short wires provided, but you need to buy a loom and a switch anyway, and that usually comes with enough length. Very simple to extend in any case.

Very bright
Put on top of my roll cage on Jeep Wrangler and it illuminates everything from ground to about 30 foot in the air and at least 30 foot either side

Bright small discreet
Very bright lights up everything in front. It has a very wide beam and on country roads lights up fields next to the car so I can see deer etc running in from the side.(a problem I had before)and up into trees etc. it's slim enough to fit under my roof bars and you wouldn't really notice it unless it's on. The fact it's mounted above head height means it shines into dips in the road that wouldn't be lit by the headlights. The only downside is it's more of a flood light than a spot light and doesn't really shine any further ahead than the standard halogen headlights. If it's distance you need a good set of spotlights would be better. The cable supplied will need extended as it's only about a foot long.

30" light bar
Really nice slim lightbar fits perfect between the grill on my vw amarok and is nice and bright. Will be looking at its big brother for the roof as the slim profile is really neat compared to common twin row setups.

13 inch 60W with 12x LEDs, power is overstated by 5x.
I bought a pair of "60w" 13 inch light bars and wanted to test how much current they draw before installing.A single light bar draws just 1A @ 12.8v = 12.8W.A pair of light bars draws 2A @ 12.8v = 25.6W.They are advertised as 60W each. In fact they are about 1/5th of the stated watts. That means when they say the light bar has 12 x 5W LEDs, sure I can count 12 of them, so 12.8W / 12 tells us that they are in fact 1W LEDs (or to be fair they may be higher spec but the way they are wired only allows them to operate at 1W). Therefore I have no doubt the lumens is grossly overstated too. They are still pretty bright and probably reasonable value for money if you just want some extra light, but just be aware they aren't what they claim to be.Having said all that I will likely keep them because I only need them for side and rear floods to hang off my van roof bars. They still give out enough light for that purpose, and are small enough to install in the gap between the roof bars and the roof, and I could not find another light bar small enough to fit in there. But still giving two stars for mis-stating the power specs.

Good light, poor brackets
The lights are pretty good for the price. But be warned, the brackets rusty very quickly which is a shame as it looks rubbish. Had mine on and they started rusting after 6 months
