It works for me! Cholestrol is down.
At my Annual check-up my Cholestrol was a little high. Dr wanted to put me on Statins. I said "let me try this first (Citrus Bergamot). After taking it daily for a year, my cholestrol was good. So that following year, I did NOT take the Citrus Bergamot and when I went in for my Annual this past January, my Cholestrol was UP again. I am back on Citrus Bergamot and the Dr. has given me 6 months to get my Cholestrol down by myself. I have no doubt it will be down by the time I go back for the 6 month check. This has worked for me before with no chemical side-effects and I feel confident it will work for me again.

I'm doing an experiment between brands
I’ve been taking Citrus Bergamot for a couple years. I was taking a more expensive brand that also hasResveratrol & grape leaf extract. Then I saw this listing and decided to try it. I had no problems with it, per se, but, during the past few months while taking Double Wood I’ve also started hearing my blood pulsing in my ears. It's so loud, it's making me nuts! No need to hold my wrist or feel my neck to get a pulse, just listen and count.I've run out of Bergamot completely so, today instead of just re-ordering, I went looking to see what all is available, plus I did some online research on Resveratrol . A multitude of studies show there are definitely health benefits to taking a limited amt. Taking too much, such as a supplement on it’s own, can cause nausea, diarrhea & other gastro-intestinal issues, per the Cleveland Clinic. Not a good idea!I’ve ordered another bottle of Double Wood Citrus Bergamot that will be delivered today and I’m also ordering a bottle of the other one with the Resveratrol. It won’t arrive for another 10 days. When it does, I’ll switch and we'll see if the pulsing sound in my ears goes away. If it does, I’ll have my answer &I guess I go back to the more expensive brand with Resveratrol permanently. One thing I don't understand with both brands. They both say they're “NON-GMO” but neither one mentions "organic". Non-GMO doesn't mean we’re not getting pesticides--it just means it wasn't genetically altered. I don't know about you, but I don't want pesticides or any other "icides" with myfood or supplements. I only found one brand that says it's “CERTIFIED” organic. We all know the supplement industry is swimming in profits, They sure as hell-o can afford to get their products certified, if they are, in fact, organic. I not, maybe they should source their plant ingredients elsewhere. Why would we want to spend good money on supplements to be healthier and poison ourselves at the same time? The FDA hasn’t done us any favors continuing to allow the use of chemicals on our food supply ( and, therefor, supplements) that have been banned in the rest of the world, or at least parts of it like the EU.And…. the FDA wonders why we’ve lost respect for them! They need to do their damn jobs and protect US —not the big chemical companies.I’ll update this review of Double Wood Bergamot in a couple mos. when I know what happens after switching back to theone with Resveratrol.Hmmm …It just occurred to me, that I really should probably switch to the organic one for the interim.But…. that completely changes my test and the validity of whether my switch to Double Wood caused the pulsing sound to begin with— assuming it goes away. I guess that’s the question and decision I need to make now. Do I want to stick with the non-GMO but also not organic Double Wood Bergamot or do I want to go with the organic brand that’s better for me, just for the sake of my experiment?

No adverse effects so far
So far - so good. Bought it after extensive research on genuine medical sites (NIH, Lancet, Science Daily, etc) as a treatment for epithelial plaque after a CT scan revealed plaque in the carotid artery. Will be buying a cholesterol home tester to monitor blood cholesterol through periodic sampling.

Good quality product
Great product. The color is brighter than other products. I am going in for my physical next month and I will be curious what my LDL numbers will be. I stopped taking statins.

Depends on type of cholesterol
I gave it a 4 star because I don't think it's a bad product, it just didnt work for me. I have low LDL (89) and am a heart patient. When you have heart issues/blockages, cardiologists want your LDL to be 70, which is virtually impossible without medication. I tried to lower it naturally. I took this for a year and had it checked and it's still at 89. Doesn't mean the product doesn't work, but some people have uncontrollable LDL from things like familial cholesterol, autoimmune diseases, etc., where Bergamot just isn't going to do anything. I urge you to figure out the source of your high LDL. One can't keep eating high cholesterol foods and wonder why Bergamot is not working and then give the product 1 star.
