No.... no internal memory, but can support up to 64g sd cards. Evf electronic view finder a little washed out , but when photos or videos are played on big screen tv or computer, tablet , they are stuningly clear. Highly recomended. Nice piece of hardware and well made.

Can it take still pictures in 3D

No, it only shoots video in 3D, not still pictures

Are the (still) pictures you capture in this camera exactly what you see when looking through the binoculars?

Yes, and they look better when files are transfer to a computer. The evf ( electronic view finder) is not as accurate in terms of resolution ..... color, resolution, etc. Limitations of a real view finder due to device compactenes design. Over all these vinoculars rock .... highly recomend this product.
