I'll start by saying this is an honest review from an everyday guy. I purchased this vest by my own accord. I bought this vest in hopes of saving money. A similar name brand vest will cost you at least 75$. This vest is very well constructed. It has literal pockets inside of pockets galore. The zippers are smooth on every pocket as well. Which is a big plus, usually "budget" items have horrible ones. There is enough room for 2-4 small plastic tackle boxes depending on size,6-8 bags of soft plastics,several smallish bags of 2/0 3/0 hooks,a pair of fishing pliers,and my cell phone is what I've stuffed in it so far. There is still room to spare too.I'm 6'3 270 and the vest fits me surprisingly well. It doesn't look like a child's vest on me. I was able to test buoyancy as well. It did keep me afloat, but not as high in the water as I'd like. That may be due to all the stuff I have in the pockets. None the less I'll end up replacing the foam for a more buoyant one. A negative but not a deal breaker. I've had a much more expensive life jacket do the same thing.Now I will address the only true negative. The item comes from China, so expect longer to receive your item. I knew ahead of time this would be the case. I purchased this way ahead of the time I needed it. It took around 3 weeks from ordering until it was delivered. So keep that in mind if you order this item.Lastly I'm very pleased with this life jacket/fishing vest. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as lower cost option. If you're in the market for one it's a great buy.

Great vest. Lots of pockets. Removable floatation in the back, so sitting for hours is not a problem. Materials seem strong. Good zippers.

So many pockets; removable floaters so I can use it as a camping/fishing/outdoor vest. It's comfy. In water it doesn't ride up to my chin! (My previous life vest rises up and I feel claustrophobic -- this one is SO comfortable and stays put! It does also have the straps I can use to strap in the crotch area, but I don't need it. So many places the vest can be adjusted for correct sizing and positioning and the pockets! If you fish, if you camp, if you spend time outdoors and need your bug spray, your flask, your camera/phone, your keys, etc. etc. ... you can carry it all in this vest.

Love the cut, does not ride into you neck and armpits, has pockets everywhere, adjustable straps to fit even the biggest or smallest adult, comfortable, well worth the money

I bought this for my wife to match her orange kayak. She really likes the feel. The quality of the build looks good. We've just used it one summer, but it seems that it will hold up well. Recommended!

Very comfortable. I am 275lb and 6ft and don't like restriction when fishing or kayaking and this vest hits all the right notes. This vest is not overly bulky and stays in place without riding up. I haven't tried the float yet, as it is still too cold to test, but I will update when I fall in or when it warms up.

It is no US Coastguard approved. Hope it works if I ever need it in the water!

Great lightweight and not bulky vest. I love the available pockets and adjustments. Color was exactly as advertised and vest fits true to size.
