Plug and play. Perfect!
My Yamaha 20 4-stroke was leaking gas and needed servicing. Replaced it with this and it fired right up. The only tweak needed was the idle speed screw. At this price point it doesn’t seem worth it to take the original apart and chase problems.I had never replaced the carb before so this took me about an hour. I could do it again in half the time. All that is needed is a Phillips head screwdriver and 10mm socket with extension and universal joint.

Plug and play
Replaced a gummed up original carb on Yamaha 25 2004, cheaper to just replace than to mess boiling it and trying to clean and rebuild. bolted right on and plugged right in. Motor started right up and ran great.

I used this on my 2003 f25 4 stroke. It needed a little adjustment but I got it dialed in pretty easily

Works perfectly
I’m not particularly mechanical but I installed this carburetor on my 2013 20hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard and after a couple of squeezes of the primer ball on the fuel line it started first pull. It did idle higher than it should but a quick adjustment with a screwdriver and it runs perfectly. Very impressed so far, will update if I have problems.

Good on 2023 15hp Yamaha
I installed this on my 2023 Yamaha F15. What a difference. Needed slight adjustment on the air fuel mixture screw.Starts instantly, idles down really well and way way more power than the stock carb.

This product did not work well for me.
I installed this on my Yamaha 25hp 65w motor and could not ever get it working correctly. I tuned it and took it out on the water but this product simply will not allow my motor to produce its full 25hp. It felt more like 20. Then after a while it will lose its tune because the idle control screw won’t stay put. It works its way out after a while and floods the engine. That’s not such a fun thing to have happen when you’re out on the ocean. I am not pleased.
