STOP, these are the ones to get t
I cant stand paying the price local mechanics charge for basic cheap brakes and have always done my own. I have made a habit of using some of that savings to purchase better quality pads and rotors. I started just buying the premium house brand options of the local auto parts stores, but have graduated to the top of the line from Centric (Stoptech drilled and slotted), Bosch's best, akebono, entry level brembo, and now these EBC brakes. All i can say is that this is the best set yet. I couldnt really tell much of a difference between the cheapest house brand stuff to their top offerings or even through some of the big name OEM mfg's better options such as Bosch. I will say that i did notice the akebono pads/brembo rotors were nice, but when i started using these the difference was incredible. I'm not sure I'd be willing to go any other brand moving forward.Note that there is some drag at first because the EBC pads have a coating to help speed up the break in/seating period. I almost took everything back apart because i started to think something was wrong, but then they smoothed out. Great stopping power, excellent feel, easy installation. Very pleased. I cant yet speak to longevity as theyve only been in the vehicle for a couple months. I do drive a lot, and somewhat aggressively, and they are still going strong. That said i would expect any brake to still be in good shape yet at this point.Other notes:- The black coating on the rotors is very nice in that it effectively kept the rotors free of corrossion, but was a time and money saver as you do not have to spray them down with brake cleaner to get all the grease or whatever it is that most companies coat there rotors with. I always hate having to get that stuff off as often that stuff sticks pretty well and requires a fair amount of elboy grease and brake cleaner. That and if you dont get it off then you could ruin your brand new brake set.- The breakdown of the many varied EBC options is confusing, and its not always easy to find the components you want in a kit.- brake dust has NOT been an issue, nor has squeaking or the like.- I tow a boat often in the summer, i cant wait to try them out with that. I will try to update if anything questionable comes from that experience.- this was the best price on this option that my cheap ass could find and believe me i looked and even called a few places to see if they would match/beat it and no one would.

There is a problem with the fitment guide.
Other then that this review is based on Amazon not the product. EBC stock upgrade brake parts are second only to (arguably) Hawk. There is a problem with the fitment guide. The Lexus RX uses: S14KF1309The Toyota Highlander uses: S14KF1221I always double check part numbers and never go by amazons descriptions or fitment guide! Also, EBC Never includes anti-rattle clips or hardware.

Fits my 2009 Toyota Highlander Limited 4wd -so far very pleased with quiet improved stopping
I have used EBC brake products for decades in my motorcycle shop and have always had solid results but never really tried EBC automotive products on my cars . The brake pad / rotor break-in period was a little different , with the top layer on the brake pads having a more aggressive material , they sounded like they were grinding the rotors , but some else told me that was normal which it was for a few miles , the break in layer on the brake pad compound is made to slowly wear off the coating that the entire brake rotor is coated with while making a smooth surface for the new green stuff to wear in to , it took me around 1000 miles for full break-in under normal in town and occasional highway driving , you will slowly see the dark coating coming off the more you drive the Toyota . After a 1000 miles the Highlander is vibration and noise free , you must make sure you use ONLY the caliper piston noise eliminators supplied in the kit and DO NOT add your old brake pads shims , you don't need them and you may have clearance issues , you just follow the install instructions to the letter and lube the caliper pins only not the pads .I am planning to use the same set up for the rear when the time comes.

Lexus RX350 front replacements
I needed to replace the rotors and pads on my 2014 RX350. Was looking at aftermarket replacements. The EBC greenstuff kit was about the same price as all others. Installation was a snap. Perfect fitment. Stopping power is greatly improved . Smooth and quiet. I have only driven about 500 miles on them so no comment on brake dust yet. Very happy with the purchase. 1 minor point. The metal portion of the pad is green . Very green. Very visible on my style of rims. Nothing a little black spay paint couldn't fix before installation. Just something to consider. Again very happy with the product.
