Atoni Brass Tap Connector 7/8" Fits 3/4" Farmers Tap

Overall, I'm very pleased with this. It took me ages to work out this was what I needed. I considered just fitting a new tap instead, which would have been cheaper, so for some people the adapter is maybe a little too dear. But I had limited confidence that I could get the water off to change the tap, or that a new one would fit the screw on the existing wall mount, so the job was starting to grow and this was easier. I had to tighten it up with big pliers to get a waterproof fit, and was worried that I had cross-threaded it. However, once it was on it was great and now it won't ever be coming off!

Spent a few days (and a few pounds) faffing around with other fittings claiming to fit 3/4 taps to no avail.This is the genuine article and fits the tap properly. Yes it's quite expensive but there are few other options out there that actually do the job.

Not the Seller's fault as I was told by a plumber if a 3/4 fitting was too small on my old ? 1950's garden tap it would be a 3/4 BSP farmers tap. The 7/8" ref here is for the inner diameter. With nothing to for comparison in the image like a 1/2 and a 3/4 alongside I wasted £14. If it looks like a 3/4 but measures 22mm across the tap thread & not 19mm then it will be an old 5/8" fitting which Amazon sell as a CK fitting. ? amended image needed for the novice garden plumber like me. Views of diameter with arrows saying 7/8" inner diameter etc.Nice sturdy durable fitting with quality rubber insert but useless for my needs or would have been 5 stars. It will stay in the might be needed one Day draw I guess. Fast delivery too.

After a nightmare finding an attachment to fit the farm tap on my allotment this was the answer I needed. Great solution to a problem.

Well made and durable in use. However it is rather expensive but that is probably the price of being the only adapter that works - and I've tried for more than a year to find one!!!!!

Wrong size of connector ordered and therefor had to return as it did not fit.

If you want to connect hoses to a "Farmers 7 1/8" inch treaded tap" this is the perfect accessory to get your standard quick connect hose fitting attached.

A bit pricey but worth it if you’ve got this type of tap
