I have the fine one. Is this the same or the lines is thicker? Thanks

I believe that 'fine' is about as thick as these pens get. It has become one of my favourite sketchbook pens, but i do wish there ws a slightly thicker version..

What kind of cartridges does the pen take?

Hi. It uses proprietary Platinum cartridges or converter. My pen came with Platinum Carbon ink cartridge. Once empty, if you don't have a converter, you could refill with bottled ink of your choice.

Does this pen have the japanese fine or the extra fine nib please? i'm after the extra fine but can't find any information about this here. thanks

The pen I bought I would say is medium . I was attracted by the “paintbrush “handle .The only reference I ‘ve seen to fine nib was in the Artist monthly magazine from the article written by Milly England. Writing on Line and Wash techniques Artist December 2020 She was also reviewing pens for urban sketching.I have no knowledge of extra fine nibs.The article referred to different pens and their nibs.Fine with one firm could mean medium with another .
