So so pretty! This is my second order of four, as I wore out the first ones which I’m now using for the cat dishes all over the house. The spot of red seems to blend well with our top table and simply looks great with everything. Who doesn’t love William Morris?

Pimpernel placemats dress up any table. The “strawberry thieves” design is delightful, the ease-of-use could not be better—- they are thick, hard-surfaced and easy to clean. They don’t stain, are very durable and heat resistant. In addition, they are a great value for the money. I love them!

As beautiful as the picture! Very sturdy. Wipe clean easily. Love them!! No more ironing placemats!

I actually bought these to put on a white nightstand so that it would be a soft landing for a cup of glass and so the top of the nightstand wouldn't get any marks or stains. However, I have used them many times for the dining room table and love them because they do have the cork backing and you can wipe the top down with a damp cloth. Be careful how you wash them. If you use a hot soapy cloth make sure you rinse them without touching the cork on the back. Again, I've used them many many times both them over and over again. I have the strawberry thief, motif in red and in blue and love them both as well.

My step mother loves these! I sent them to her for Christmas. It is so nice to be able to just wipe them off, without having to launder them!

I was pleasantly surprised to find these are nicer in person than on the site! The image, while in pale colors, is clear and distinct. Good thickness which means it isn’t floppy and looks like something you can use with guests.

This is my second set of these placemats. We use them every day in our kitchen to protect the finish of our table. Not only are they beautiful, they do a fantastic job protecting the table from heat and spills. They stand up well to a light cleaning, but not a heavy scrubbing. My last set lasted for almost ten years. Worth the expensive price tag if you value your table top. As an added bonus, they are so pretty that they make for a beautiful table setting with my everyday dishes!
