Long-standing trusted brand for a reason!
I know we all feel like we need some super expensive, latest and greatest heat styling tools. I have some high end ones. I just wanted a big barrel curling iron to experiment with so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Gosh - I forgot what great quality these are! Like the plastic handle and buttons feel cheap, but that doesn't make a difference with the functionality at all. The barrel is GREAT quality! My hair glides through it nicely, clamps securely, heats evenly, and had multiple heat settings. If I paid 3 times the price for this, I'd still feel like I got my money's worth! This is just a really great curling iron at an absolute steal of a price!

It works pretty well and it's inexpensive.
I replaced an expensive professional salon ceramic gold curling iron with this one. The professional one died and I am glad because it was becoming awkward for me to use as my hands don't work as well as when I was younger. I used to burn my forehead because it was hard to handle, but the hair wound around the tube nicely and when I rolled the curling iron, the hair slid along as it should. This curling iron is much easier to handle. It is lighter weight. It curls well. The downside from the expensive curling iron is the hair doesn't slide along easily and the dial for heat settings is impossible not to touch and it moves to a different setting too easily. I think I am going to glue it into place. Not burning myself offsets the hair not sliding along as easily as the expensive one. Pretty decent little curling iron for 1/4th the price!

Pleasantly surprised!
My Revlon pro curling iron died unexpectedly. Honestly I ordered this one because it was cheap and would arrive first thing in the morning. But guess what?? I love it! I love it more than the one that died. Things I like better about it:1. It’s much lighter weight, and easier to hold.2. It has a fixed plastic stand instead of the metal flip back and forth kind3. It heats up faster (30 secs).4. The cord is shorter. For some this might be a negative, but I prefer it.5. The rotator where the cord attaches works much better, so the cord stays smooth and untwisted.6. The clamp has the perfect grip tension. Snug enough to hold my fine hair, but not so tight as to pull or cause crimping.7. The “cool tip” actually stays cool8. It has an auto-off feature in case I forget about it. Nice peaceful of mind.Overall I’m very pleased with this unplanned but lucky purchase.

Works very nicely
This curling iron, not only curls but straightens as well. The barrel size is nice for looser curls. The heat is evenly distributed, which means less time doing your hair. It is tangled resistant.

Works and does the job but..
I like this curling iron, but I find when working with my hair I often hit the power button and it shuts off. Sort of frustrating cause most of the time I don’t realize I’ve done it until the iron starts to cool. But this iron has a nice coating on the heating element and does the job. I can’t return it as I’ve already thrown out the box.

Curling Iron Creates Gorgeous, Long-Lasting Spirals for Short Hair
I have a bob haircut and have been using a one-inch curling iron for years. While it worked well for creating soft waves and loose curls, I was looking for something that would give me tighter, more defined spirals—especially to add more volume and texture to my shorter hair. After doing some research, I decided to try this smaller-barrel curling iron, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed! The barrel is the perfect size for creating tighter curls that actually hold throughout the day without falling flat. It gives me that cute, bouncy spiral look that really enhances the shape of my bob. I also love how quickly it heats up and how easy it is to maneuver, even with shorter layers. It doesn’t tug or snag, and the curls come out smooth and consistent every time.Overall, I’m so glad I made the switch. If you have shorter hair and want to switch things up with more defined curls or a retro-inspired style, I highly recommend this curling iron!

Quality product, produces a nice range of curl
Conair Double Ceramic 1/2-Inch Curling Iron is great, just what I needed. I wear a pixie cut, and use a flat iron to style my hair, but sometimes a curling iron can come in handy, to give it different looks. This one is perfect! Produces a nice range of curl, easy to handle, my hair feels smooth, soft, and the temperature control is an absolute plus. It's made well, an awesome price for the quality. I would definitely recommend this product.
