Bonsenkitchen Vacuum Sealer

I just received this vacuum food sealer. I purchased it because of the size sealing bags that it allowed. My previous vacuum sealer accepted large bags and I should add was a gift to me. This new one is really a nice addition to my style of cooking. Not only does it seal my food for storage, but it also has a marinating button that allows for the added convenience of quick marinating (16 minutes) our favorite foods. This done through a pulsing of the vacuum on the food, hence the 16 minutes. This is a lot quicker than the 30 minutes to overnight some foods require. It also allows for the sealing of containers designed for vacuum sealing. The included hose and appropriate connectors are included with the sealer. I also like that it will accommodate rolls of bags which makes it easier to select a proper size bag for food I am sealing. Interesting though, it came with a roll of bags and three different size, ready to use bags. This whole package was a great bargain! It is very easy to use and really quick in it's designed operation. Built from plastic and stainless steel, I like the ease of cleaning and storing the unit. A well designed and thought out product.

Well made and nice varieties for vacuum sealing. It comes with lots of bags and a roll to customize the size bags you need. Prevents freezer burn. The pulse action you can seal items that are fragile to the full seal without crushing ie:breads, cookies saving money to keep from throwing out food. Seal cut fruits, such as honeydew melons, cantaloupe, avocado to preserve longer from spoilage.

The entire point of a vacuum sealer is to 1. Vacuum, then 2. hold that vacuum 3. Seal (as it held vacuum not letting air back in.) This thing? NOPE! No matter what mode you use that works with the bag it does this: 1. Vacuums 2. Lets air back in defeating the entire point 3. Seals - now with air pockets in your bag. I can just use a Ziploc freezer bag if that is what I want to do! This thing is absurd. It is NOT operator error, it is simply designed to function that way apparently and that is ridiculous! I have had Food Saver and Seal-a-meal and other machines out there over decades, I know how they are supposed to function. This is just junk. Read the other negative reviews, you will see the same thing said by some. I returned it. Every sealer I have ever owned holds the vacuum before sealing. This is just dumb. Waste of my time. I never even made it to the point the sealer or vacuum mechanisms stop working, which I see reviews about. They can't even get the sequence right. No thank you.

My kids love ❤️ it with the cost of groceries. They buy close to expiring meat at a lower price and seal put in the freezer.
