Spotty Signal if using Verizon, but a great phone overall
I've seen many reviews on this phone before I decided to buy it. I even knew about the spotty service for Verizon.I've had this phone for about 3 weeks and it's a great phone. When I'm gaming on certain games the back still stays pretty cool (at the time of writing its during the summer and its hot). The fan does help when you want the proccessor to stay cool. The OS is not bad, I had an S21 Ultra before switching to this and I had to relearn somethings. Both are android but the redmagic acts similar to an iphone's OS. You can of course change it in the settings to be similar to the s21u.Pros:Unlocked works with Verizon even though some say its not.Preinstalled screen protectorExcellent battery life 80% can last up to a whole day of mixed usage, ie gaming, insta, using the browser, or watching videos. If you are using with not much gaming it can last up to 2 daysScreen is pretty good, the samsung is brighter in lower levels but at max is just as bright. Color accuracy is also very good, almost identical to the s21u. Also has 144hz but resolution is lower than the s21u but I don't mind. If you care about the screen get the amoled version of the redmagic.Cons:Spotty signal with Verizon. I read that the best carrier for this phone is Tmobile but my family is on a Verizon plan so I don't intend to switch. I had to enable developer mode to keep the mobile data on and so far I haven't had any issues.Everything is google, ie phone for calling, messages, and gallery for photos. You can probably download other apps but I don't want to especially since a lot of third party app will have ads.Speakers are really low on default. Ringtones, alarms, notifications are pretty low volume despite having it on max volume.Using the default DTS app was able to make the volume for entertainment louder but not the ringtones or notis from what I've experienced.Edit: 9/14/25Con:Receiving images (pics, screenshots, etc ) is terrible. It could be a variety of things that can cause this though. I tried everything in google messages to try to fix it but I was only able to fix it a little bit. What as an unreadable mess was now at least semi-readable. This happens on both android and iphone so it has to be the messaging app or could be my service provider. I get at least 30Mbps so it shouldn't cause any issues when receiving images because they should be that hard to download when receiving right? If this gets resolved in some way I will re-edit this post in a future update.

excellent device
An absolute beast for gamers!I’m completely blown away by the RedMagic 10 Pro 5G! From the moment I turned it on, I knew this was something special. The performance is outstanding—everything runs fast, smooth, and without any lag, even with demanding games like Genshin Impact or Call of Duty Mobile. The display is insane: big, vibrant colors, and the 144Hz refresh rate makes everything look incredibly fluid. The visual experience is on another level. And the cooling system? Simply amazing! You can play for hours without worrying about overheating.Plus, the battery lasts a long time, and with the 100W fast charging, just a few minutes of charging gets you through the whole day. The touch triggers are a great bonus for competitive gaming, and the RGB lighting gives it a unique and futuristic style.a doubt, this is the best gaming smartphone I’ve ever had.I totally recommend it to anyone who loves gaming on their phone!

Best phone for gaming
Let me first say that I love this phone. I love it very much. It makes me happy to hold it and look at its beautiful screen and feel it purr in my hands as it breathes quietly in the twilight.I have had a RM9, RM10, and just received my new RM10s. I’m officially a fanboy. That, however, will not affect my judgement, as it is harsh.Everything this phone does right, it does really right. Like, super-duper, extra effing right. Build quality, battery, screen, processor, all these things are top tier. The shoulder buttons are incredible, although they can take some getting used to if you’re not already comfortable gaming on a phone screen.Truly my only complaint is the software. There’s not a whole lot of bloatware pre installed but there is enough to make me take notice. And the ZTE spam you can’t delete is infuriating to me.One thing to mention that is subpar and noticeably lacking is the speakers. I personally don’t use my phone’s speakers for anything. If I’m watching/playing/talking it’s in earbuds or a headset. If your phone’s speakers are important to you, you’re a bad person. No one wants to hear what you’re playing/watching/listening to. You’re a bad person and everyone judges you. This phone is not for bad people. This phone is for the good people who just want to game on the go. That’s not a crime. If you’re a good person, buy this phone. (Or the new RM10s)
