I’ve been drinking yerba mate for a while now, and this BALIBETOV set is easily one of the best I’ve used. The double-wall stainless steel cup keeps the mate hot for a long time without burning your hands, and it has a nice weight and feel to it — sturdy but comfortable.The bombilla (straw) filters well and doesn’t clog, even with fine-cut yerba. It’s easy to clean and has a nice polished finish that looks great with the cup.What I really appreciate is the modern look combined with traditional function. It’s great for daily use and also looks good enough to take to work or share with friends. No metallic taste, and super easy to rinse out.If you’re new to yerba mate or want to upgrade your setup, this set is an awesome choice. Highly recommend!

Adorable! And high quality for such an inexpensive item. This thing is INSULATED! I do not recommend using super hot water because it takes forever to cool down. Love it!

Its metal made to look like wood - and it looks pretty good, Actually works well because double walls give some thermal insulation. Comes with two styles of bombillas (depending on the grind of the mate). We use it for travel - Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. This set is all you need. The stainless steel allows for easier cleaning than a wooden gourd or a "real" gourd. It won't crack either. I thought there would be a difference in taste compared to a wooden or real gourd, but there is not. Granted, I am a gringo, but my Argentinian friends use stainless steel gourds as well. I recently ditched my morning coffee for mate, and I do not miss the coffee at all. Mate delivers the same caffeine but doesn't cause that jittery, overly aggressive feeling that too much coffee gives me. Imagine how much better the world would be if everyone converted to mate? Less anxiety, road rage, whatever. Mate also helps with dieting-especially if you do intermittent fasting. Viva mate y gracias Balibetov.
