Great mat
Excellent mat recommended to me by a yogi. I didn’t think it would be this much better than my old $10 mat but it is. Still firm for balance but more cushioning somehow from the density of the material. Excellent stickiness and seems significantly durable.

Great yoga mat!
This is a great yoga mat! My daughter wanted a new yoga mat for her classes and this one works perfectly. She wanted one that was a good thickness and this fit the bill. Not too thick and not too thin. It does not hold onto smells like others do, and rolls up perfectly every time. Highly recommend!

Cork for hot yoga
Perfect for hot yoga. I took this mat to yoga class and it was fantastic. I never lost grip and it was 105 in class! I was drenched in sweat from a ladder flow. The thickness was perfect- helps keep you grounded. Can’t wait to continue using this mat.

What you need to know:
Firstly, I am a beginner. Brand new to yoga.So it comes rolled up with the upside rolled away for a reason. If you forcibly flatten it by rolling it the other way or simply rolling it as you would any other mat, then you get creases. I would say if you are buying this for travelling or looking to store it rolled up, be careful with it. I have left my mat flat and simply keep it to the side when I don't need it. After initially learning about the mat and how to use it, I have practised with it for five hours or so and have to say it is lovely. Here is what you must understand: you have to wet it with a damp towel or cloth every time you use it, and I would say for hot yoga, get it especially wet. You can wait a bit for the water to soak into the cork, but the cork needs the dampness to be extra grippy, as any other plastic mat would be. As the water is being soaked into the cork, it can also look like it's drying, but it is still there, don't worry. Once this is done, it can be very secure and comfortable. I find my hands less rough and my skin feeling taught when I use the mat correctly. The thickness is mostly in the underlayers, as the cork is only 1-2 mm. The size of the mat is slightly smaller then that of the yoga mat I had previously, but honestly, I don't see any loss in the shorter cork mat as I am short myself. Another thing to be aware of is that the smell will go away in a few hours or if you wet it a couple of times. If you bring it to a studio and there happens to be a break in the session, take that time to re-dampen the mat. My joints feel very supported and protected as I use this mat where whereas my other yoga mat just sinks and impresses with my body weight. I actually find the whole process and use of the mat to be very methodical, and love the organic design the cork naturally makes as a pattern. I would highly recommend this to other beginners.

Yoga teacher approved - just wet it a little in the beginning
For price and performance fantastic. I’ve taught yoga for over 10 years. I personally practice 2-4x a week on this mat primarily hot yoga and it’s holding up great! I don’t roll it up great and I toss it around and it’s handling it like a champ. You do have to roll it with cork on the outside or it will crease. I also recommend pour a little or spray a little water where your hands and feet go in the beginning of practice to give more traction - not slip. Once I start sweating it’s fine but in the beginning sometimes it’s a little slippery. (I’ve used all the name brand mats over my career and practice and I just wanted to see how a cheap basic mat would compare and this has been better than I expected).

Fav yoga mat
Love my mat , it is the perfect size and it is so comfortable. Hadn’t seemed to get worn as it is good quality and not slippery. It also stays clean and has no smell like others get. Very light weight

Perfect mats
We are currently using these mats to help our ancient 13 year-old German Shepherd grip the floor when she gets up off the floor. She has degenerative myelopathy of the hind legs (a progressive disease), so we purchased these mats as assistive tools. They help a lot. They will be used as yoga mats once she goes to the Rainbow Bridge.

Cute mat...but...
I received my yoga mat in the mail a few days ago. I will say that the design is true to the photos, and it is cute and comfortable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I do slide on the mat, and it claims to be slip-free, as advertised.
