Randomly saw a TikTok video on this lotion and did an impulsive buy- no regrets! It’s so moisturizing and gives my skin a glow. Honestly the smell is not the best but the trade off is worth. Suggestions say use it at night but I use it after my morning shower. No irritation

I have sensitive skin that is prone to irritation and dryness. I've been using this most days on my face and upper arms for a couple of weeks now, and it has helped to improve my skin texture immensely. The bumps on my arms arm gone and my face looks great. I haven't been able to use other products to help smooth the skin on my face because they have always immediately caused irritation. The first and second time I used this I felt momentary burning, but the sensation went away very quickly and never caused any visible skin irritation. To the contrary, my skin looks and feels better than it has in years.Other users have commented that it smells like cat pee. I have three cats, and I can assure you that is not what it smells like. It does have an odor, but it's just a light sour smell that I don't notice after a few minutes. Overall, I am super glad I tried this, it works!

Very good lotion. Moisturizes very well. A little on the stink side. PSA…. Read the label and do not apply before exposure to sun. You have been warned.

If there used to be a smell with this lotion, there isn't one now! Wow - GREAT product! A little goes a long way - my skin loves it! Worth whatever I paid for it!

This product makes my skin feel so soft and smooth after just one overnight use. It has a slight odor at first but dissipates after the skin feel dry to the touch. I use this on my legs and buy the KP bumps be gone for my arms as this product doesn't quite do the trick for my arms.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I do think it has helped my dry skin. However, I thought I was going crazy because I kept smelling ammonia. I even made an appointment with my doctor. Well...I just put some of the lotion on and notice that the smell was on my hands and arms. I had my husband smell as well - still thinking I am crazy. He smelled it too. I washed my hands and the smell went away!!! Of course, I decided to Google the main ingredient - ammonium lactate. Research confirms that it can indeed smell like ammonia! Supposedly it can have a light ammonia smell, but is pretty strong on me. At least I'm not crazy or having major health issues. Thank goodness!!

Not amazing but it helps better than most lotions. Dark rough skin on shins lighten to a more natural color with occasional use.

You only need a few drops on your hands or your face. This is NOT like ordinary lotion! Exfoliating and highly moisturizing with no scent! I first moisturize my face using Amazon Basics Skin Cream (a great product!) and then apply a few drops of AmLactin afterwards a few times a week to exfoliate. Just make sure to use SPF to avoid sunburn. I also use the lotion on areas of my scalp that are very dry. I've used AmLactin's thick RapidRelief 15% lactic acid cream for several years and this is superior in my experience. The lotion spreads effortlessly and provides greater exfoliation, even though it's 12% and not 15% lactic acid. The 15% cream leaves a film on my skin unlike the 12% lotion.
