I lay floors for a living this is a good product if u have nicks or cuts in your vinyl this is the perfect product.

The coolest furniture repair I ever purchased. Not only does it come with colored markers it comes with colored melt waxes in assorted colors and a melting tool to fill in chips. This is an amazing buy and covers flaws instantly.

The wax takes a while to melt. The instrument is flimsy and got extremely hot after about 45 minutes of use. The batteries were too hot to hold when I took them from the instrument. After following directions and waiting to scrape the wax, all that happened was the wax popped out of the hole or crumbled. Perhaps this unit should only be used for large holes more than 3 mm in depth. It did not work for superficial scratches. The markers that came with the set are great. The colors are deep and sink into the wood well. Overall, I would not use this set around children or leave the batteries in the unit. The markers would definitely stain anything they came in contact with if children were to get ahold of them. Given another chance, I would only buy the markers and not the set.

This is great!! I needed it to fill in the gaps of vinyl floor and once I got the hang of it , it looks 10 times better

Came right off . Ineffective and a waste of money

I was a bit skeptical at first, but the kit actually works pretty well. It comes with a good variety of wax colors, so I was able to mix a shade that matched my floor almost perfectly. The heat pen was easy to use, just give it a few seconds to warm up, it melts the wax smoothly into cracks and holes. I used it on both a some damage on vinyl floor and a scratched-up cabinet, both look better now. It’s not a professional fix, but for DIY touch-ups, it’s hood enough.

Floor looks better. Still oboe scratched but matches and is filled in so It's day not bad and nice to have around if you don't want to replace an LVP floorboard.
