So easy to use. Even for beginners!
I'm blown away by the precision and quality of this micro engraver pen! The tiny diamond tip glides effortlessly across metal, wood, and even glass, leaving crisp, detailed engravings. I've used it to personalize jewelry, tools, and even decorative items, and the results are consistently impressive. The pen's ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and control, and the battery life is fantastic. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional, this micro engraver pen is a game-changer. Highly recommend!

A must have
Exactly the type of engraving tool I was looking for. I think I have engraved most things that can-be engraved in my home by now, but this tool works great for jewelry making and many other projects as well. I’m sure you will find an attachment to fit your needs, as there are a variety attachments included. I have not had a chance to try out any of them on wood, but I am excited to do so. Very easy to change out attachments, turn off/on, switch speeds. Easy to hold as a left handed person. Not too heavy and not too light either; there is a little weight to it. I would recommend this to any level of experience. Instructions are clear.

decent dremel, infuriating case design
This is my third engraving pen so I'll give you some informed takes on it's form and function compared to others on the market of similar size and cost.PROS:-Unlike some other handheld portable dremels that require a miniature hex wrench to remove and replace the dremel bits, this one allows you to slide them in and out with ease.-Battery life is solid, requires a recharge only after lengthy projects.-Having 3 modes gives the user more autonomy over the intensity of filiing/carving/polishing.-The size is truly handheld, easy to use, and has a natural grip-The variety of drill bits is good for the costCONS:-I'm docking a full star for this because it is truly so annoying: The case the drill bits come in is one of the worst designs imaginable and clearly an attempt at egregious cost-cutting at the expense of the user, which is particularly strange considering the overall quality of the dremel itself.Allow me to elaborate: The case used to house the drill bits is flimsy, cheap plastic that cracks easily. Perhaps more infuriating is that it doesn't even have a clam-shell closure, forcing you to pry it off with your fingernails like some feral child learning how to use tools for the first time. I've deliberated on smashing the cash in a fit of rage were it not for the fact that it houses over a dozen tiny dremel heads and miniature rotor blades inside. I highly recommend you DO NOT attempt this over carpet, on a deck with slats, or anywhere you wouldn't want the heads flying off in a comically explosive manner. If the ordeal were animated, they'd come flying down directly on my head like tiny missiles, my teeth turning into piano keys and falling out one by one to the dirge tune of my own pyrrhic victory at having gotten them out of the case at all. The only thing between you and this eventuality is the styrofoam padding used to house the individual bits themselves, but it will not save you from this fate if you have the misfortune of accidentally popping the lid off too quickly, raining down a hellish cascade of tiny tools all over your dusty workshop. This, to me, feels like such an obviously bad move from a consumer perspective that I'm irritated enough by it to leave a review at all.-With all of this said, I also don't think it's too much to ask that a case the exact length of the dremel itself have some sort of means to attach the dremel to the bit kit, perhaps within a modest sleeve of some sort, to facilitate its transportation. Instead I have to tape the case shut with masking tape and tie a rubber band around them both so they don't go flying everywhere inside my bag. I would have gladly paid $3-5 more for a kit that had a practical case that carried the components well, but in the age of ensheetification that's likely too much to ask.-A minor thing, but I do feel the drill bits could be a bit higher quality.

NOT FUNCTIONAL
This engraving pen lacks the precision and power needed for detailed work. The tip feels dull, making it difficult to achieve clean lines on even soft surfaces like wood or plastic. It vibrates excessively, which causes hand fatigue and uneven results. Battery life is short, and the pen loses strength quickly during use. For anyone serious about crafting or engraving, this tool falls short of basic expectations.
