Bought this backpack bag for a carry on before a trip from US to Europe. I am currently & actively using it during this travel through two countries. It has proven to be outstanding thus far for 3 separate flights as my carry on. I was worried about the few negative reviews about poor quality. This bag is not made of high end quality materials or zippers. If you take care of it and be mindful while opening and closing, then this bag is an ideal bargain! I would say if you are a very frequent traveler that needs a backpack for regular multiple use then invest in something more durable because this bag may bag might not sustain over time. However, for the one time big trip or occasional travel, this bag is proving to be superb! The side straps allow for compression to make it smaller or you can stuff it rather generously. This bag can be made to fit international travel dimensions depending how much you pack it. The many pockets and compartments provide excellent organization. The large central internal compartment has a mesh covered zipper opening wall is perfect to store those items like electronics, fluids, and medicine you need to display while clearing TSA. My only complaint is regarding the backpack straps. They are better fit for a youth or small person. I am a bigger guy. If you are size 2XL or more, then you can not clip the chest strap or extend the shoulder straps enough for improved comfort.It is still manageable over both shoulders but I wish the straps were longer/larger to accommodate me better. I would recommend this travel backpack for the casual traveler. Very pleased with this product so far!

Seriously blown away by this backpack! The quality is absolutely top-notch – durable materials, strong stitching, and smooth zippers. It feels like a premium bag that should cost way more.For the price, it's an insane deal. It's comfortable, has great storage, and looks fantastic. Honestly, one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. If you're thinking about it, just get it. You won't regret it! Highly recommend!

I have to say it.. don’t waste your money buying anything else because this backpack is IT. I took this as my ONLY bag for a 4 day cruise, and in it I packed:6 tshirts4 shorts2 bathing suits and a rash guardUndergarmentsA shmedium bag of toiletries (carry on safe)A sun hatMy kindle AND kindle standAll my chargersAn empty large crescent bagguWalletSmall souvenirsAnd a few other small odds and ends.MIND YOU - I AM SIZE 22W - so NOT small clothing! This backpack delivered. Quality is great for the price, has so many compartments to organize as well as maintain security if traveling!! Nice thick straps with the chest connector keeps weight distributed. Has the inside panel to compress clothing. Does have the USB port if that’s your thing for charging but I didn’t use it. Also has laptop sleeve that I didn’t use but was accessible.I will probably never use another bag again!!

The pros:This is a great backpack at a sweet price point. There’s plenty of storage room as you can expand it. It’s sturdy and you can tell that it’s strong and durable, with stitching that’s well put together. It has an orange accent in the inside zipper which runs smoothly. The netting inside is thick and strong which is a huge bonus point to keep clothes organized as well! It’s comfortable to carry and I now usually use this as my go to. There’s plenty of compartment and one that’s hidden that is directly on the bottom of the bag that faces the back of your waist - which is great piece of mind so nobody rummages through your important items (keys, passport, money, etc). I also do like that fact that the flap opens like a suit case so you can easily see everything in the fly, also making organizing great.The cons:The sides has four straps that you can pull to make the bag snug and tighter, where you can just easily buckle together. The problem here is that it can easily come apart and fall off. To fix this I made a loop once and sewed it together. It’s no biggie but thought I should mention it (see image).Worth mentioning - the bag CAN run hot. While it is waterproof, the material itself can get hot to the touch if you have it baking in the sun. They do inform you of this, so it is something worth knowing. (I’m think that there is two factors to this though, the material itself but also the color being pure black. I assume if they ever make another model with new colors, it may fix the heat absorption.) I took this backpack to a Florida trip and during the daytime you can definitely feel the heat when needing to get access to the backpack. Directly carrying the backpack was though.Theres a lot of zippers also which is great but the zipper pull tab is also black, which gets a little annoying since the whole package is in black. You can easily fix this by getting zipper pull tabs so it’s easier to see. I manage to find some spare strings that I had laying around that matched the inside of the orange zipper (see images).Overall I actually love this backpack and it kind of spoiled me. The fact that it’s expandable and can store up to 40L is great. There’s absolutely so much storage room. Moving forward, if I ever need to get a new backpack I know I’ll be in the market for the same 40L size option for sure.

My husband and I bought 2 different large capacity backpacks for our trip to Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam. He chose this one, and I went with another brand. This one was by far the better quality option. It looks great, it's made from a very sturdy material, has tons of pockets to keep everything organized, and collapses down when you aren't carrying a lot. The zippers are good quality and when expanded, it holds A LOT of stuff!
