Works great for toddler sensory bin. Lids snap on well and so far my toddler needs help opening them so she can’t play in the bin without supervision. They have a great depth, deep enough to hold items well during play but not so deep that it makes play difficult for my toddler.

I got these boxes to use as storage boxes for my crafting and they are well made with a nice snap-on lid. I got these set of bins to put some beach sand in for my boys to play with. They used it a lot this summer especially outside, since they would add water to it and play with it that way. They haven't played with it much since school has started. I am tempted to move this sand into something else for the winter and use it for their kinetic sand instead. I think they would be the perfect size for that to keep it contained when they play with it.

To be fair, I don't use this as a portable sandbox. I do use it to carry around small crafts (like bracelets) and do them in the car when I'm waiting for my kids to be done with their clubs. They are a fantastic size, handles are nice, and having a lid is perfect. I would not hesitate to put something wet in here.

Very thin product should be a dollar store item not worth the price.

I like that the lids to these sensory bins latch so they won't pop off easy. The lids fit well, but I can see where if tipped some sand could get loose. Overall, I'm really pleased with them. The plastic of the box is similar in thickness to a sterilite plastic shoebox. The lid is a bit thinner. I think they are plenty sturdy and might survive a couple a drop or two. They are on the small side for sensory bins, so you could only have one child playing at a time. But it's ideal for home use. The size is easy to tuck away in a cabinet or under the couch. I plan to use them in my art classes. They are the perfect size to fit in a piece of paper to do some messier projects like marble painting.

We ordered this sensory bin tray set for our pre-schooler to play with. The bins are pretty good quality and perfect for sensory activities or craft storage. The lids open and close easily. We are keeping dried beans and little tractors/ bulldozers in them right now - this keeps our little one occupied for an impressive amount of time. The bins make it easy to pull out and put away activities. I wish we had ordered bins like these sooner. If you have little kids these bins will make your life easier!

while I have one setup for the kenetic sand, the other one is a nice place for my kiddo to put all his craft work. he cuts, glue, stamp etc and it can get messy. we use it as a storage bin for now and we take everything around the house, inlaws or even at the pavillion at the park to do work. the lid helps keep everything together when storing the materials away!
