I clipped the GEAR AID HEROCLIP to my backpack and it hasn’t left since—it’s that useful! It’s great for hanging things like water bottles or even shoes outside my bag, especially when camping. While I appreciate how sturdy and versatile it is, the size is a bit larger than I expected, which can be slightly cumbersome. However, its utility more than makes up for the extra bulk. Definitely a solid addition to my gear!

Happy with this item. Have used it to keep rucksacks from being on the floor. Easy to use and feels good quality. Only reason for 4 stars is that I think it is a bit on the pricey but time will tell in the end.

I've had this for two months now and have used it repeatedly. The majority of the time it has been clipped to a backpack and used to clip on a water bottle and walking poles. I've also used it in a busy pub to clip multiple bags together for a little more security. However with the additional 'hook' element that this design has I have also used it as an iPad stand. Very happy with the product, good quality aluminium design and it's light so I carry it with me everywhere.Update... like other reviewers we have now used it for clipping bags onto the back of our pushchair. It is strong and can cope easily with heavy changing bags and shopping bags. I can see that I may have to purchase another one for my personal use as the baby chariot now owns this one!

I’ve looked at these clips for years but they’ve always seemed too expensive compared to carabiners. But I treated myself for a long trip around the Nordic countries. I’m part way through the trip and it’s been so useful. Hanging up things on the ferry- yes I could use a carabiner and my husband did but we agreed it was easier with a hook too. Hanging my bag in bars and restaurants. Clipping the dogs leads together and using the hook as a lead. Clipping a bag to the front of my rolling luggage etc etc. I keep it clipped to my sling bag ready for action at any time.I think I’ll get another one for my husband.The only thing is that when it arrived I just couldn’t work out how to clip it together into one clip. You have to twist the hook part around and then open the carabiner hook to lock the 2 parts together. I had to get my husband to work it out and show me but I’m sure there’s a YouTube video somewhere - there always is!

Quality hook/clip which I purchased as a replacement hook for my second hand suit bag. Perfect for hanging up the entire bag.
