Burt's Bees Baby Beekeeper Wearable Blanket is the only wearable blanket we use on my grandson. Granted, it’s only the second brand I’ve purchased for him, but when you find perfection, why try to fix it? We keep it cool in our home…in all seasons…so he wears his sleep bag every night with a long sleeve onesie. He’s 15 months old now and has worn it since I found them here on Amazon when he was just seven or eight months old.The qualities I adore about this wearable blanket: it’s made of 100% organic cotton (no polyester, so it’s breathable while still being warm…eliminating sweaty babies). I found that it did not shrink when washed on warm and dried on low heat…or if it did shrink, it was so little that it was negligible. Since it’s made of 100% cotton, there is no stretch to the material, but not to worry about roominess. There is ample room for little hips to have full range of motion so as not to hinder proper development. The four sizes cover a large range of weight and length with Small for a baby as little as 23” and 10 pounds to X-Large for a baby as large as 40” and 36 pounds.As far as aesthetics, there are several patterns in a few colors available…with a couple of solid colors thrown in. These wearable blankets are offered in two TOG’s: TOG means Thermal Overall Grade and is simply a way to rate the warmth of products. Burt’s Bees makes their sleep sacks in 0.5 TOG and 1.5 TOG. (If I had one nit-picky complaint, it would be that they don’t offer a 1.0 TOG as well.) These sleep sacks do have a higher price point than many, but I believe they are worth it. Also, you can catch one at a discounted rate or use one of their coupons offered.Overall, I’m so glad I found these and did not hesitate to purchase. Burt’s Bees always has quality products and I’ve yet to be disappointed. I have three of these sleep sacks for my grandson: two 1.5 TOG’s and one 0.5 TOG. Putting this on every night is part of his bedtime routine that signals it’s time to calm himself, get snuggles, have a book or two read, etc all in preparation to go to sleep. I purchased several of these for my 2 grandkids. They are durable, soft, and warm. True to size. I recommend staying true to the size chart. I found getting bigger size wasn't the best choice. The arm and neck holes were too big and mad for sloppy fit. Too much wiggle room.I appreciate the breathability of cotton. The quality and thickness was suitable for all seasons. Can be worn with or without other pjs.The zipper held up in all of the sacks which is great for exploring hands.It can also be worn backwards for the little escape artists. Keeping kids in sleep sacks prevent climbing over crib rails but also allows them to stand and walk.

I'm always so impressed with Burt's Bees Baby items. This sleep sack is very plush, keeps out baby warm while still being breathable, and is the perfect size to fit him comfortably as he grows. Plus they come in great themes/colors so baby is always cute and is made with organic cotton which is good for his sensitive skin.It's a little pricey compared to others but it's worth it because it's so well made.I highly recommend everything from this company, especially if you can catch it on sale!

This sleep sack has a good weight but a little heavier than 0.5. The zipper is very large and sturdy. Overall the sleep sack is long and the neck is just the right size. The pattern is a very vibrant color. There is slight stretch to the fabric.
